AI housekeeping inspection for Zeevou
RapidEye reads the images your housekeepers upload against a Zeevou task and returns a finding for every completed clean, on the right unit and the right stay.
What a Zeevou task already enforcesOverview
Zeevou collects better cleaning evidence than almost any system in this category, and then leaves it sitting in the report. Its housekeeping task carries the unit, the booking behind it, timing windows, a condition, a priority, notes, reported issues, and images and videos that have to come from the camera during the task rather than from the phone's gallery. Everything a manager would need is there. What is missing is somebody opening every report on a Saturday with forty completed tasks in it. RapidEye reads those images alongside the unit and the booking, and returns one finding per problem, new damage, cleaning that was missed, an item that has gone, with the frames from before and after and the time they were taken.
How it works with Zeevou
Zeevou already decides who cleans what and when: tasks are generated for check-outs and mid-stay cleans, and its allocation takes account of a housekeeper's availability, the check-out and check-in times, how long the clean takes and the travel between properties. RapidEye picks up at the point Zeevou stops, which is the moment the housekeeper presses Finish.
- Check-out cleans. The stay that just ended sits between the last set of images of that unit and today's. A scorched worktop, a cracked shower screen or a missing throw comes back attached to the booking it happened in, which is the difference between a claim and an argument.
- Mid-stay cleans. Zeevou generates these as tasks of their own. The images tell you whether the linen was changed and the bathroom touched while the guest was out, and that answer is useful while they are still in the property.
- Reported issues. A housekeeper can report an issue from the task or from the three-dot menu, and Zeevou's maintenance calendar logs it with its reporter and its urgency. RapidEye reads the photos regardless of whether anyone reported anything, so the mark nobody mentioned still surfaces, and the issues that were reported arrive with the evidence attached.
- Unit notes and host notes. The task detail already carries a host note and a unit note for the housekeeper. Where that note is a standard, the crib in the second bedroom, four towels on the rail, the coffee pods restocked, RapidEye holds the photo to it.
- Handover between staff. Zeevou records start time and location as staff clock in and out. Pair that with what the images show and you can tell a rushed clean from a thorough one without standing in the doorway.
Each finding names the unit and the room, where in the room the problem is, what kind it is, how serious, the before and after images with their times, and a suggested next step. It lands in the RapidEye dashboard, and in a Slack channel or an inbox if the office wants it there. What happens next in Zeevou is yours: reopen the task, raise a maintenance job, charge the guest. Images are the simplest input, not the only one. Teams that film a walkthrough of each unit, that keep 3D scans, or that want findings scored against their own inspection standard, get that set up with us on the first call.
How to connect Zeevou to RapidEye
- Housekeeping tasks generating from bookings. In Zeevou, have your housekeeping tasks generating from check-outs and mid-stay cleans, with the units you want checked assigned to staff on the Listing Access card. Those tasks are what a finding gets attached to.
- Turn on mandatory images. Set image upload to mandatory so a housekeeper cannot finish a task without at least one image per area, and agree the same angles per room with your team. If a unit has no photo habit yet, a RapidEye capture link covers it from any phone with nothing to install.
- Add RapidEye as staff. In Zeevou, click the gear icon, choose Staff Management, and use Create a New Staff to add Rapid Eye with the email support@rapideyeinspections.com. On the Listing Access card, give it the properties you want read with Housekeeping Tasks enabled.
Nothing changes for the housekeepers. They open the same app, in the same language, and finish tasks the way they already do.
What a Zeevou housekeeping task already enforces
Checked against Zeevou's support documentation, September 2026.
According to Zeevou's support documentation (zeevou.com), the housekeeping side of the mobile app is a series of gates rather than a checklist. The housekeeper cannot start early, cannot start a second task while one is in process, and, where the host requires images, cannot finish at all until the frames exist. That is a stronger evidence trail than most operators realise they are sitting on.
- The task card, before anything is touchedIt shows the window the task can start from, the time it must finish by, the estimated time it should take, its condition and its priority, with the calendar marking the days that carry work.
- Location, then StartOpening a task can prompt for location access, because starting and completing tasks depends on the housekeeper being at the property. The task cannot be started before its start time, and while one task is in process another cannot be started.
- Images and videos for the requested itemsUploaded during the task. Zeevou states plainly that the system does not allow uploading a saved image or video from the mobile gallery, so what lands on the task was taken then and there.RapidEye reads here
- Notes, issues and access codesA note or an issue can be left against the task. An issue marked urgent is sent immediately and can no longer be deleted; anything less urgent is sent when the task is finished.
- FinishWith mandatory images switched on, Finish is unavailable until at least one image per area has been uploaded. The card then shows as completed, and the report is retrievable from the housekeeping list or through the booking's operations view.Findings follow
The gates are Zeevou's own, from its housekeeping app documentation. The two marked points are where the integration does its work.
The conditions Zeevou puts on a task, and what each one really tells you
A completed task in Zeevou carries a condition, and every one of them is a statement about the clock or about somebody's opinion, not about the room.
Late and Missed are timing. Complete is the housekeeper's own account of their work. Reopened is the only one that carries a judgement about quality, and it depends entirely on a manager having looked, which is exactly the thing that stops happening as a portfolio grows. Priorities run Low, Medium, High and Critical, and they are set when the work is planned, before anyone has seen the room. RapidEye adds the missing condition: what the images actually show, on every completed task, whether or not anyone had time to open it.
Does Zeevou check the photos your housekeepers upload?
It collects and protects them, which is the harder half. Zeevou's product pages describe cleaners uploading notes, photos and videos and reporting issues, cleaning reports gathered so managers can review turnover progress, and remote monitoring of which tasks are pending, in progress or completed. Its support documentation describes where a completed task's report lives and how to open the attachments for a specific task through the booking. All of that is retrieval: it assumes a person goes looking. Nothing in it describes anything reading an image and saying what is wrong in it, and Zeevou does not claim otherwise. RapidEye is that reading step, run on every completed task, so the images your housekeepers were required to take finally do the job they were required for.
Zeevou integration FAQ
Does RapidEye integrate with Zeevou?
Yes. RapidEye reads the images and videos your housekeepers upload against a Zeevou task, along with the unit and the booking the task was generated from, and returns a finding for every completed clean: new damage, cleaning that was missed, an item that is gone. Your task allocation, staff records, listing access and housekeeping history in Zeevou stay as they are. RapidEye writes nothing back.
What happens to the mandatory housekeeping photos in Zeevou?
They are stored against the task. Zeevou documents that when the host makes image upload mandatory, the housekeeper cannot finish the task without uploading at least one image per area, and that the completed task and its report can be opened from the Housekeeping List or from the booking. Storing them and reading them are different jobs. Zeevou does the first, and until someone opens each report the second does not happen. RapidEye reads every image on every completed task and reports what is in it.
Can a housekeeper upload an old photo from their gallery in Zeevou?
Not for the requested items on a task. Zeevou documents that the system does not allow uploading a saved image or video from the mobile gallery there, so the frames come from the camera during the task. That is unusually good hygiene for a PMS and it is why the integration works well on Zeevou: the photos are fresh, which is what makes a comparison against the last clean of the same unit meaningful.
Does RapidEye change tasks, allocation or staff in Zeevou?
No. Zeevou stays in charge of the schedule. It generates the housekeeping tasks, applies its allocation, holds the conditions and the completion history, and decides what a housekeeper can see. RapidEye reads and reports, and you decide whether a unit gets reopened, an issue is logged, or a charge is raised.
How does this help with a task Zeevou marked Reopened?
Reopened in Zeevou means the host was not satisfied and put the task back on the housekeeper's list. Today that decision rests on whoever happened to look. With RapidEye the decision has evidence behind it: the finding names the unit, the room, the spot and shows the frames, so the housekeeper is sent back for something specific rather than for a general complaint, and the ones who did the job well are not sent back at all.
Does it work for mid-stay cleans and maintenance visits too?
Yes. Zeevou generates tasks for check-outs and mid-stay cleans, and its operations module extends to reported issues and maintenance jobs with their own mobile app. RapidEye reads the photos on any of them, so a mid-stay clean is checked before the guest returns and a maintenance visit leaves a dated before and after record of the repair.
