AI changeover inspection for SuperControl
Check every booking your housekeeper set to Cleaned in the SuperControl housekeeper login, from the photos they take on the way out.
How the housekeeper login worksOverview
In SuperControl, Cleaned is a green frame around a booking, put there by the person who did the cleaning. The housekeeper login is a genuinely good piece of software for running a changeover: one page merging arrivals, departures and notes, filters for any date range and property, the booking extras and the bed configuration the guest asked for, and a status the housekeeper flips the moment the property is done. What it holds no record of is the property itself. RapidEye supplies that half: it reads your property list and booking dates from SuperControl and the changeover photos your housekeepers take, and returns a finding for every booking marked Cleaned, tied to the property and the stay.
How it works with SuperControl
The housekeeper login already decides what a housekeeper sees and does on the day, so the checks follow the same parts.
- Cleaned and Not cleaned. The green frame is the trigger. When a housekeeper marks a booking Cleaned, RapidEye reads the photos taken at that property and reports what the frame cannot: a bed made over a marked sheet, a shower screen still streaked, a bin not emptied, a bulb still out. A property left Not cleaned at the end of the day is its own signal and gets flagged as a gap, not a finding.
- Occupied status. The login lets a housekeeper set whether a property is occupied. RapidEye uses the same information the other way round: an empty week between two bookings is when dust, a dead bulb and a borrowed kettle arrive, and a photo taken before the next arrival says which of the three you have.
- The notes a housekeeper writes back to you. SuperControl says a note added in the housekeeper login is emailed to you and recorded in the History and Correspondence tab of the booking. That is the honest report, and it is limited by what the housekeeper thought to mention at the end of a long day. RapidEye reports what the photos show whether or not anyone wrote it down, and the two sit side by side.
- The instructions on the booking. Housekeeper notes, arrival and departure notes and booking extras all reach the housekeeper through the report, and custom form fields carry things like the bed configuration the guest asked for. That is a written standard for this specific changeover, and a standard is something photos can be checked against. A hypothetical: the booking asks for a twin set-up and a cot, the photos come back with a double made up and no cot, and that returns as a finding before the family arrives.
- Several housekeepers on one property. SuperControl allows more than one housekeeper per property, which is how a changeover ends up with nobody quite accountable for the utility room. Every finding names the property, the booking and the person allocated, so the pattern shows up over a season rather than in an argument.
- Owner bookings. An owner week is still a stay, and a property comes back from one changed in ways nobody logs. It is read exactly like a guest booking.
A finding names the property and the room, the type of problem, how serious it looks, the before and after photos with the booking dates between them, and a suggested next step. Findings live in the RapidEye dashboard and can go to Slack or an inbox as well. What happens next in SuperControl is yours. And the photos are only the easiest starting point: teams that film a walkthrough instead, that have 3D scans of their cottages, or that want findings scored against a changeover sheet of their own get that set up with us on the first call.
How to connect SuperControl to RapidEye
- Housekeepers set up and allocated. In SuperControl, your housekeepers exist under Admin, Housekeepers, each with a login of their own, and they are allocated to properties from the property record with advanced options switched on. RapidEye uses that same allocation, so a finding reaches the person who cleaned the property.
- Changeover photos. SuperControl's housekeeper login has no photo field, so RapidEye sends a capture link that opens on any phone with nothing to install. A fixed set of angles per property, lights on, taken before the housekeeper sets the status to Cleaned. If your team already photographs changeovers into another app, RapidEye reads those instead.
- Add RapidEye as a login user. In SuperControl, go to Admin, then Login users, enter support@rapideyeinspections.com with the username Rapid Eye, choose an access level, and click Add. SuperControl emails the user to set a password, and every booking keeps showing who made each change.
The SuperControl housekeeper login, as a housekeeper meets it
Checked against SuperControl's help centre, September 2026.
SuperControl describes itself as a self-catering property management system and channel manager for owners and agencies in the UK and Ireland, and the housekeeper login is the part of it your cleaning team actually touches. According to SuperControl's help centre documentation (supercontrol.co.uk), housekeepers are created under Admin with an email and a password of their own, allocated to properties from the property record, and they log in at a dedicated housekeeping address rather than inside your account. The login was rebuilt around mobile because, as SuperControl puts it, about 35 percent of its users open it on a phone, and the help centre walks through adding it to the home screen as an icon. What used to be three tabs, arrivals and departures, the daily report and add booking notes, is now one page.
Filters, display ordering and the two cleaning statuses as SuperControl's help centre describes them. The green and orange are SuperControl's own.
Everything on that page is about the booking. Nothing on it is about the room. RapidEye is the row that is missing.
The manager's side of the same workflow sits in the main account: under Bookings, Charts and Reports, SuperControl generates a housekeeping report you can filter by housekeeper, property and date range, and a bulk version that emails every housekeeper their own arrivals and departures with a cover email. Both are paper, in the sense that they go out ahead of the work and come back as nothing.
Four places a note can live, and what none of them holds
SuperControl documents four distinct kinds of note around a changeover, which tells you how seriously it takes the housekeeper relationship. It is also the clearest way to see the shape of the gap.
Four channels, all of them text, all of them written by somebody who chose what to mention. Nothing in that list carries a picture of the property, which is why a stained mattress protector, a chipped worktop or a missing set of keys reaches you as a sentence if it reaches you at all.
Can a housekeeper attach a photo in SuperControl?
No article describes one. The Housekeepers section of the help centre holds seventeen articles across four chapters: adding and archiving housekeepers, working with housekeepers, the housekeeper login, and troubleshooting. Between them they document the login and its password, allocation to properties including allocating several housekeepers to one property, email alerts on new and cancelled bookings, hiding parts of a booking from the housekeeper, impersonating a housekeeper to see their view, the filters and display ordering, the two cleaning statuses and the occupied status, notes in four places, and the printable and emailed reports. None of them describes attaching an image to a booking, a changeover or a note. That is not a criticism of SuperControl, which does the booking half thoroughly, and it is exactly the half RapidEye is built to add: a capture link that opens in the housekeeper's phone browser, the same angles at every property, and a finding on your desk for every booking that turned green.
SuperControl integration FAQ
Does RapidEye integrate with SuperControl?
Yes. RapidEye reads your property list and booking dates from SuperControl and the changeover photos your housekeepers take, then returns a finding for every booking your housekeeper set to Cleaned: new damage, cleaning that was missed, an item that has gone, with the before and after photos. Your housekeeper logins, allocations, notes, cleaning statuses and reports stay exactly as they are. RapidEye writes nothing back to SuperControl.
Can a housekeeper attach a photo in SuperControl?
No article describes one. The Housekeepers section of SuperControl's help centre runs to seventeen articles covering logins, allocation to properties, report filters, display order, cleaning and occupied status, notes in four different places, and printable and emailed housekeeping reports. None of them describes attaching an image to a booking, a changeover or a note. Photos come from the housekeeper's phone through a RapidEye capture link instead.
What does Cleaned actually mean in SuperControl?
That somebody pressed it. SuperControl's help centre says that in the housekeeper login a booking with a green frame is Cleaned and one with an orange frame is Not cleaned, and that the housekeeper changes the status themselves so the booking updates in real time. It is a statement of completion, not of condition. RapidEye reads the photos taken at that changeover and confirms or contradicts it, naming the property and the booking.
Do my housekeepers need a new login or a new app?
No. They keep the housekeeper login you created for them under Admin, at the same address, with the same email and password, and many of them keep it as an icon on the phone home screen the way SuperControl documents. The capture link opens in the phone browser with nothing to install. The only new habit is a fixed set of angles per property before they leave.
Will RapidEye change bookings, statuses or housekeeper notes in SuperControl?
No. SuperControl stays in charge of the changeover: the bookings, the cleaning and occupied statuses, the housekeeper notes and the History and Correspondence record on each booking. RapidEye reads and reports. Findings arrive in the RapidEye dashboard, and in Slack or an inbox if you want them there. Whether a property gets a second visit is your call, made in SuperControl.
