AI room inspection for WebRezPro
Read the photos behind every unit your team moves to clean or inspected on the WebRezPro housekeeping report, task by task against the checklist you already run.
How the housekeeping report worksOverview
The WebRezPro housekeeping checklist is a sequence control, not a condition record. It holds sections and tasks per unit type, it will not let a unit go to clean or inspected until the list is finished, and the checklist log keeps who completed what by date. What it cannot hold is what the bathroom looked like when Wipe mirror was ticked. RapidEye adds that layer: it reads the unit list and booking dates from WebRezPro along with the photos your housekeepers take, and returns a finding per unit against the same checklist and the stay that came before it.
How it works with WebRezPro
The housekeeping report already tells you what kind of day each unit is having, through its occupancy entry: arriving, departing, staying through. The checks follow those entries, so a finding turns up in the same words your supervisor is reading on the report.
- Departures and turns. The guest who just left is the reason the unit is dirty. A cracked lampshade, a burn on the desk, a stain the strip did not remove: each comes back as a finding with the photo from the previous turn and the booking that sat between them, which is what a charge needs behind it.
- Stayovers. A service clean is where most of the corner cutting hides, because nobody inspects an occupied unit. RapidEye reads the stayover photos for the bed not remade, the bathroom skipped, the bin left, the towels counted wrong.
- Checklist tasks. Because a checklist can be split into sections such as Bathroom, Bed and Mini Bar with tasks under each, findings can be returned at that grain: the task, the unit type it belongs to, and the photo that agrees or disagrees with the tick.
- Maintenance alarms. An alarm moves from active to work in progress to work completed on the unit. RapidEye holds the photo from when the fault was raised and the photo from after the work, so a completed alarm can be checked instead of assumed.
- Units nobody is due in. A unit that sits empty for a fortnight collects dust, dead bulbs and items borrowed for a busier room. RapidEye tells you what has gone missing since the last set of photos.
- Zones. Findings can be grouped the way you already group units for scheduling, so patterns show up per zone and per housekeeper rather than as one undifferentiated pile.
Each finding names the unit, where in it, the type of problem, how serious it is, the before and after photos and a suggested next step. It lands in the RapidEye dashboard and, if you want it there, a Slack channel or the front desk inbox. You decide whether the unit goes back to dirty or gets a maintenance alarm raised. If your team documents another way, with video walkthroughs, a scan, or an inspection format of your own, that is a setup conversation rather than a limit: RapidEye reads the documentation you already produce and reports against the standard you hold your property to.
How to connect WebRezPro to RapidEye
- A WebRezPro account with the units you clean on the daily housekeeping report, in the zones you already use for scheduling. Unit types you keep off the report stay off.
- Unit photos from your housekeepers. WebRezPro records statuses, notes and checklists rather than pictures, so RapidEye sends a capture link that opens on any phone with nothing to install. A fixed set of angles per unit, lights on, taken before the status goes to clean. If your team already photographs units in another app, RapidEye reads those instead.
- RapidEye added as an employee. Employees and their security profiles live in the WebRezPro back office; give ours a profile that can see the housekeeping report for your property. The Connect button has the details.
The WebRezPro housekeeping report, line by line
Checked against WebRezPro's product and feature pages, September 2026.
WebRezPro is a cloud PMS used by independent hotels, motels, inns, hostels, campgrounds and vacation rental operations, and housekeeping is not a bolt-on: it sits in the back office beside rate management and the guest ledger, fed live by the front desk. According to WebRezPro's own product documentation (webrezpro.com), every unit on the daily report carries its current room status, its occupancy status, its housekeeping zone, and any notes or maintenance alarms attached to it. Supervisors can sort by any of those columns, filter down to just the vacant and dirty units, keyword search the whole report, and change status or zone for many units at once through bulk actions. Seven and 28 day versions of the report exist for planning ahead.
The report comes in two shapes. Table format is the desk view, the property-wide picture. Tile format loads by default on a phone, one tile per unit showing status, occupancy, unit type and zone, with arrivals, departures, stayovers and notes behind tabs inside the tile. Nothing is installed; it is the same system in a browser.
Statuses are a short, flat list rather than a workflow, and one of them is where the whole question of quality sits:
Clean and inspected are both chosen by a person on the report. Neither captures anything about the unit at the moment it is selected.
What the checklist does, and where it stops
Checklists are the strongest quality control WebRezPro ships. You build one per unit type, split into sections with tasks underneath, with descriptions to walk a housekeeper through anything fiddly. Once checklists are switched on, the list attached to a unit has to be completed before that unit can be moved to clean or inspected, and a checklist log keeps the completed lists by date. That is real: it stops a unit being flipped from the corridor. What it records is that every box was ticked, in order, by someone with a login.

Can a photo be attached to a unit in WebRezPro?
Not that the product documentation describes. What can be attached to a unit on the housekeeping report is a temporary note that lives for the selected day, a permanent note that stays until someone turns it off, and a maintenance alarm that moves through active, work in progress and work completed. Notes are text. Alarms are a state and a description. Across the housekeeping feature page, the mobile PMS page and WebRezPro's own walkthrough of the housekeeping report, nothing attaches an image to a unit, a checklist task or an alarm. So the report can tell you the clean was completed in the right order by the right person, and it cannot tell you what the unit looked like. That is the half this integration supplies, unit by unit and stay by stay.
WebRezPro integration FAQ
Does RapidEye integrate with WebRezPro?
Yes. RapidEye reads the unit list and booking dates from WebRezPro and the photos your housekeepers take in each unit, then returns a finding per unit: damage, a missed clean, a missing item, or something for maintenance, with the before and after photos. The housekeeping report, unit statuses, checklists and reservations in WebRezPro stay exactly as they are.
Can you attach a photo to a WebRezPro housekeeping checklist?
WebRezPro's own description of the housekeeping report covers room status, occupancy status, zones, temporary and permanent notes, maintenance alarms, bulk actions, and checklists built from sections and tasks per unit type. It does not describe attaching an image to a unit, a checklist task or a maintenance alarm. Photos come from the phone your housekeeper already has, through a RapidEye capture link.
We already use housekeeping checklists in WebRezPro. Why add anything?
Because a checklist proves the box was ticked, not that the task was done. WebRezPro requires the checklist to be completed before a unit can move to clean or inspected, which is a real control on sequence, and the checklist log keeps the record by date. RapidEye works against the same list: for each ticked task it looks at what the photos show, so Change sheets and Wipe mirror either hold up or they do not.
Does the inspected status mean someone actually inspected the unit?
It means someone selected it. WebRezPro offers dirty, housekeeper in room, clean, inspected and privacy, and a supervisor sets inspected on the report or in tile format on a phone. Nothing about the unit is captured at that moment. RapidEye reads the photos from that unit and either backs the status or names what is still wrong with it.
Can findings follow our housekeeping zones?
Yes. Zones group units for scheduling and are assigned to specific housekeepers in WebRezPro, so findings can be grouped and read the same way. Over a season that turns into a per-housekeeper picture, which is the fastest way to see whose units come back clean and whose come back with the same thing missed.
Will RapidEye change unit statuses or bookings in WebRezPro?
No. WebRezPro stays the system of record for the housekeeping report, every unit status, every alarm and every reservation. RapidEye reads and reports back, and your team decides whether a unit goes back to dirty or gets a maintenance alarm raised on it.
