AI inspections for Aline

RapidEye reads the photos your team captures on an Aline Quality survey and on the daily round, and returns a finding per apartment and common area, tied to the unit and the stay in Aline.

How an Aline Quality survey works

Overview

An Aline Quality survey is a strong record of what a reviewer judged when they walked the community, and photographs are already part of it. Aline documents a fully customizable digital survey that can cover a whole community, a single department or one topic, reviewer guidance on each question, photos captured in the field question by question in its mobile app, and a plan to correct generated automatically for every item that does not pass. The one thing no survey can do is be run often enough, in every apartment, by someone who remembers exactly what that room looked like eight weeks ago. RapidEye is the second pair of eyes on the photographs: it reads what was captured, compares each space to its own history, and returns one finding per issue, tied to the apartment and the dates that Aline already holds. It reads rooms and equipment only, never residents.

Every photo, every communityA regional team can walk a few communities a quarter. The photographs from all of them get read the same week.
The answer against the photographA question marked passed is a judgement. The frame captured on that question is the evidence, read alongside it.
Rooms only, never residentsCondition of apartments, corridors, dining rooms and equipment. No clinical judgement of any kind.

How it works with Aline

Aline gives the finding its address: which apartment, which community, whose stay it falls inside. The photographs give it its evidence. Here is where each kind of photograph comes from and what comes back from it.

  • Photos captured on a quality survey. Aline captures them question by question, which is the most useful shape a photograph can arrive in: the frame already knows what it was meant to show. RapidEye reads each one against the question it was taken for and against the last survey of that same space, so a bathroom photographed under "cleanliness" three quarters running shows its drift rather than three separate passes.
  • Apartment turns between residents. Aline's leasing side tracks scheduled move-ins, move-outs and vacant inventory. RapidEye lines up the photographs of an apartment from the start and the end of a stay and reports what changed: a stained carpet, a hole where a shelf was, a broken drawer front, with both dates on the record before anyone has to have a conversation about it.
  • Housekeeping rounds. A room that was cleaned and a room that was recorded as cleaned are two different claims. RapidEye reads the photograph: a bin left full, a bathroom that was wiped around rather than cleaned, linens that did not change, and the shift lead hears about it while there is still someone on the floor to fix it.
  • Maintenance walks and physical hazards. A grab bar pulling away from the wall, a rug curled at the edge, an extension cord across a walkway, a light out at the end of a corridor. These are things a photograph shows plainly and a person walking past at speed does not, and each comes back as a finding with a suggested next step for maintenance.
  • Common areas and equipment. Dining rooms, activity rooms, salons, laundry, entrances. RapidEye knows what that room held and how it was set the last time it was photographed, so furniture that has gone missing, a stain that has spread or a fixture that has come loose is reported as a change.

A finding names the community, the apartment or area, what kind of problem it is (damage, cleaning, physical hazard, missing item), how serious it is, the frames it rests on, and a suggested next step. It lands in the RapidEye dashboard and, if you want it there, in a Slack channel or an inbox for the executive director and the maintenance lead. What happens next in Aline, including whether a plan to correct is raised, stays with your team. Photos are the usual input, not the only one: a community that films a walkthrough of a floor, or that holds a 3D scan of a model apartment, or that wants findings scored against a standards form of its own, gets that set up with us on the first call.

How to connect Aline to RapidEye

  1. The community, as Aline already has it. Your apartments and common areas in Aline, with move-ins and move-outs kept current, so every finding lands on the right unit and inside the right stay.
  2. The photos from the round. Reviewers keep capturing photos question by question on a survey in the Aline mobile app, and housekeeping and maintenance keep photographing apartments the way they do now. If a community does not photograph yet, a RapidEye capture link opens in a phone browser with nothing to install and asks for a fixed set of angles per room.
  3. Add RapidEye as a user. Ask your Aline administrator to add Rapid Eye on the account with the email support@rapideyeinspections.com, scoped to the communities you want read. The Connect button on this page has the details to hand them.

One community is a sensible start, and the rest of a portfolio follows once the executive director has seen a week of findings.

How an Aline Quality survey works

Checked against Aline's product pages, September 2026.

Aline is a single platform for senior living operators across assisted living, independent living, memory care and skilled nursing, connecting sales and marketing, resident living, dining and financials for a community. Aline Quality is the part of it that walks the building. According to Aline's product documentation (alineops.com), it is a mobile quality management tool for conducting audits and verifying that properties reflect a company's brand standards and stay ready for regulatory compliance checks, built on three pieces: a fully customizable survey that can cover an entire community, a single department or one specific topic; optional interpretive guidelines on each question, such as the specific items to check, reminders of company policy and state regulations; and an automatically generated plan to correct, which reassigns each failed item to a department or individual with a required completion date and notifies the supervisor when the corrective action is marked complete. Aline documents that its mobile app can capture photos in the field on a question-by-question basis, and that reviewers can be prompted to add comments to specific questions for context. That question-level photograph is the piece this integration is built on.

Survey questionAs Aline documents it
The question Written by you. A survey can scope to a whole community, one department, or a single topic, so the question is as narrow as your standard is.
The interpretive guideline Optional guidance attached to the question: the specific items to check, a reminder of company policy, the state regulation behind it.
What the reviewer leaves behind
A pass or a fail A comment, when prompted A photo, taken on this question
What RapidEye readsThe photograph, against the question it was taken for and against the last photograph of that same space, so the judgement and the evidence are two facts instead of one.
What happens to a failed item A plan to correct is generated automatically, reassigned to a department or a person with a completion date, and the supervisor is notified when it is marked complete.

Can a quality survey tell you the condition of every apartment?

Not on its own, and it was never meant to. A survey is a scheduled, human review, and its value is that a trained reviewer applies judgement to a standard: Aline's design shows exactly that intent, with the interpretive guideline sitting on the question so the reviewer knows what the company means by good. But an operator running dozens of communities gets a full survey of each one a handful of times a year, and between those visits the only images of an apartment are whatever housekeeping and maintenance happened to take. The photographs exist. Nobody has an afternoon to open them all, and nobody can hold in their head what unit 214 looked like in March. That is the space this integration fills: RapidEye reads every photograph from every community, remembers each room's own history, and hands the quality team a short list to act on between the surveys they were already going to run. Aline stays the record and the place the corrective work lives.

Aline integration FAQ

Does RapidEye integrate with Aline?

Yes. RapidEye reads the apartment and common area list and the move-in and move-out dates from Aline, plus the photos your team captures on a quality survey or a housekeeping and maintenance round, and returns one finding per issue: damage, cleaning that was not done, a missing item, a physical hazard in the room. Your surveys, plans to correct, resident records and billing in Aline are not changed.

Does Aline Quality already take photos?

Yes. Aline documents that its mobile app can capture photos in the field on a question-by-question basis during a survey, and that reviewers can be prompted to add comments for context. Those photos are exactly what RapidEye reads, question by question, so the survey answer and the photograph are checked against each other.

Does RapidEye look at residents?

No. RapidEye reads rooms, fixtures, furniture and equipment: the condition of an apartment, a corridor, a dining room, a bathroom. It makes no clinical judgement of any kind and has no role in care. Anything about a resident stays in Aline Care and eMAR, where it belongs.

Can RapidEye help with an apartment turn between residents?

Yes, and it is the clearest case. Aline holds the scheduled move-ins and move-outs, so RapidEye can line up the photographs of that same apartment from the start and the end of a stay and show what changed between them, with both dates attached, before a family conversation or a charge is raised.

Do housekeepers and maintenance staff need a new app?

No. If your team already photographs apartments and common areas, in the Aline mobile app or anywhere else, RapidEye reads those. If a community does not photograph yet, RapidEye sends a capture link that opens in a phone browser with nothing to install and asks for a fixed set of angles per room.

Will RapidEye write into Aline or generate a plan to correct?

No. Aline stays the system of record and the place corrective work is assigned and closed. RapidEye reads and reports; findings land in the RapidEye dashboard and, if you want them there, a Slack channel or an inbox for the executive director and the maintenance lead.
