AI room inspection for August Health

RapidEye reads the community and room list from August Health and the photos your turnover, housekeeping and maintenance teams take, and returns a finding per room with the photos on both sides of the change.

What August Health documents

Overview

August Health documents care at the point of care; the room the care happens in is a different subject. Care Track logs planned and unplanned care from a phone at the bedside, the EHR holds documents, incidents, assessments and service plans, Move-Ins turns the admission packet into a digital flow, and Insights compares acuity, incidents and occupancy across a portfolio. None of that is meant to tell you whether the shower in 118 still drains or whether the paint touch-up in 204 actually happened. RapidEye reads the community and room list from August Health so a finding arrives as a unit number, reads the photos your building teams already take, and hands back a finding per problem.

Ready before the family arrivesThe turn checked against how the room looked last time, while there is still a day to fix it.
A history the room keepsEach unit accumulates dated photos, so drift shows up as a pattern instead of a complaint.
The chart is never touchedNo routine, note, assessment, document or charge in August Health is written to. RapidEye reads and reports.

How it works with August Health

The clean way to think about it: August Health follows the resident through the stay, and RapidEye follows the room through the same stay. They meet on the unit number. The checks below are where communities usually begin, not the boundary of the product; RapidEye reads whatever your teams already capture, photos, video walkthroughs or 3D scans, and reports against the standard you set.

  • The turn between residents. Strip, repair, paint, deep clean, restage, usually four people over several days. RapidEye compares the finished room against the photos from before the last resident moved in and returns what is different: a scuffed corner nobody patched, a blind slat missing, a wardrobe door off its runner, a bathroom wiped rather than cleaned.
  • The first day, alongside Move-Ins. A family that just signed everything on a phone walks into the apartment with high expectations. The room deserves the same finish as the paperwork, and reading the photos is how you know it has it before anyone is standing in the doorway.
  • Housekeeping and weekly room checks. Done and done well are different claims. RapidEye reads the photo for the parts people skip when a shift is short: the shower track, the inside of the microwave, behind the door, the light that has been out for two weeks.
  • Environment-of-care and safety rounds. Corridors, common rooms, laundry, stairwells and the exterior. A loose grab bar, a lifting threshold, a blocked exit route, a torn chair seat. These are conditions of spaces and equipment; RapidEye makes no clinical judgment and reads nothing about a resident.
  • Maintenance, opened and closed. The photo taken when a job is closed is usually the only proof of the work and the least examined document in the building. RapidEye puts it next to the photo from when the problem was raised and says whether they differ.

A finding names the community, the room, the spot, the kind of problem, how serious it is, the photos on both sides, and a suggested next step. The finding shows up in the RapidEye dashboard; Slack and email delivery are optional. Nothing is written back: your team decides what becomes a work order and what becomes a charge. A use case that is not on this list, or a team that shoots video instead of stills, is a setup conversation rather than a limit.

How to connect August Health to RapidEye

  1. The room list in August Health. An August Health account with your communities and rooms set up, so a finding arrives as a unit number rather than a description of a hallway.
  2. Where the room photos come from. If turnover or maintenance already photographs rooms in another tool, RapidEye reads those. If not, RapidEye sends a capture link that opens on any phone with nothing to install, for a fixed set of angles per room.
  3. Access, with your administrator. Account access in August Health is managed by your administrator, so we do that step with them. Tell us you run August Health and how many communities, and Care Track stays exactly as it is.

What August Health documents across a stay

Checked against August Health's product documentation, September 2026.

August Health describes itself as an AI-enabled platform for senior living communities, built around six products: Move-Ins, the EHR, eMAR, Care Track, Billing and Payments, and Insights. According to August Health's own product documentation (augusthealth.com), Care Track is a mobile, point-of-care solution for documenting planned and unplanned care and capturing data at the bedside on a phone or tablet, designed so a new hire can learn it in minutes, with automated handoff summaries for the incoming shift. Move-Ins replaces a hundred-page paper packet with digital documents, e-signature, a family portal and real-time visibility into how far each prospect's paperwork has progressed. The EHR carries digital document management, a compliance dashboard, incident management and charting protocols, and service plans that update from reassessments. Insights reports acuity, incidents and occupancy in real time and lets an operator compare one community against the rest of the portfolio.

Line those up against the life of a single apartment and the shape of the thing becomes obvious.

Does August Health track maintenance or room condition?

Not as a product, and it does not present itself as one. Its published integration directory sorts partners into the categories below, which is a fair map of what a senior living EHR is expected to connect to.

ClinicalPharmacySafety and MonitoringStaffing and WorkforceDining and NutritionResident EngagementFinance and Accounting

Every one of those categories is about the resident, the medication, the meal, the staff or the money. The building is not among them, which is not an omission so much as a boundary: August Health is the record of care, and the record of the physical plant has historically been a clipboard, a work order queue and someone's memory. RapidEye takes that last part and gives it the same treatment the chart already gets, evidence with a date on it.

What Insights measures, and what it cannot

Insights is genuinely strong on cross-portfolio comparison: it flags a community with an unusually high incident rate or unusually low acuity and points you at it for deeper analysis. That is real, and it is the sort of question most operators cannot answer today. Condition is the same question about a different subject, and it has no data source until someone reads the photos. A community whose rooms are quietly falling behind produces no signal at all until a family complains, a survey lands, or a room sits empty because it is not ready to show.

August Health integration FAQ

Does RapidEye integrate with August Health?

Yes. RapidEye reads the community and room list from August Health so every finding is addressed to the right unit, and reads the photos your turnover, housekeeping and maintenance teams take. It returns a finding per problem with the photos on both sides of the change. Charts, routines, service plans, documents and billing in August Health are untouched.

Does August Health document the condition of the room?

August Health documents care, not carpet. Care Track is a mobile point-of-care tool for logging planned and unplanned care, the EHR holds documents, incidents and service plans, and Insights reports acuity, incidents and occupancy across communities. That is a full picture of the resident. RapidEye adds the other subject in the room: the room, read from the photos your teams already take.

Can RapidEye check a room before a move-in?

Yes, and it is the check worth starting with. August Health Move-Ins gives a family a digital, real-time view of the paperwork, and the apartment is the other half of that first impression. RapidEye compares the photos taken at the end of the turn against the photos from before the last resident moved in, and gives you the punch list while there is still time to fix it.

Does RapidEye read anything about residents?

No. RapidEye reads the condition of spaces and equipment: floors, walls, bathrooms, furniture, fixtures, grab bars, doors and corridors. It makes no clinical or care judgment and it is not a monitoring product. Everything about a resident stays in August Health.

Do caregivers have to change how they use Care Track?

No. Care Track stays exactly as it is, and the photos RapidEye reads come from whoever already handles the building: the turnover crew, housekeeping, or maintenance. If they photograph rooms in a work order tool today, RapidEye reads those. If they do not, a RapidEye capture link opens on any phone with nothing to install.

We run August Health across a portfolio. Does that work?

Yes. Every finding carries its community and room, so condition can be compared building to building the way Insights compares acuity, incidents and occupancy. A regional director can see which community's rooms are drifting without walking all of them.
