AI apartment inspection for Eldermark

Read the photos from every room-ready check, move-out and environment-of-care round at an Eldermark community, and get a finding per apartment tied to the unit it came from.

What Eldermark records today

Overview

Eldermark is the record for the resident and the business, not for the apartment. Its published apps cover care, growth, revenue and operations: the EHR, the eMAR, Point of Care, Risk Management, the CRM, Billing, Dashboards, ElderSmarts, ElderForms and Cloud Storage. The physical condition of a unit lives outside all of it, in photos on somebody's phone. RapidEye reads the community and apartment list from Eldermark so each finding lands on the right unit, reads the photos your team already takes on a walk, and returns a finding per issue with the before and after shots beside it.

Every apartment, every wingIndependent, assisted living and memory care read against the same standard, whether it is one community or thirty.

Eldermark stays the recordNothing is written to the EHR, the eMAR, Point of Care or billing. RapidEye reads and reports.

How it works with Eldermark

The walks already happen. A unit gets turned between residents, a maintenance tech closes out a repair, a manager does a round before a tour. What none of those walks produce today is a record anyone can check later, and the family, the state surveyor and the owner all judge the community by the same physical detail your team walked past at the end of a long shift.

  • Apartment turns between residents. The unit is cleaned, painted and made ready, and someone decides it is done. RapidEye reads that walk's photos and returns what is still open: a scuffed door frame, a carpet stain in the corner the vacuum did not reach, a bathroom cleaned around the fixtures rather than under them.
  • Move-in and move-out condition. Two sets of photos with a tenancy between them. RapidEye tells you what changed, which keeps a deposit conversation with a family on evidence instead of memory.
  • Environment-of-care rounds. Corridors, common rooms, dining, the bathing suites. A loose grab bar, a torn floor transition, a burned-out bulb over a stairwell, an exit route with a cart parked in it. These come back as findings with the spot named, so the round produces a list instead of a feeling.
  • Work the maintenance tech closed. The photo taken after a repair, read against the photo taken before it, so a closed job has evidence behind it.
  • Whatever your standard is. If your operating group has its own room-ready standard, brand book or survey-prep checklist, RapidEye is set up to score against that one rather than a generic one.

Each finding names the apartment and the spot, the kind of problem, how serious it is, the before and after photos, and a suggested next step. It lands in the RapidEye dashboard, and in a Slack channel or an inbox for the executive director or the regional office if you want it there. What happens next is yours: a work order, a charge, a conversation with a vendor. And if you capture something other than photos, video walkthroughs or 3D scans of a unit, or you want a use case that is not on this list, that is a setup conversation, not a limitation.

What RapidEye does not look at

Residents. RapidEye reads the condition of spaces and equipment and makes no clinical or care-quality judgment of any kind. Care documentation stays where it belongs, in Eldermark.

How to connect Eldermark to RapidEye

  1. Your Eldermark communities and apartments. The unit list is what every finding is filed against. Independent, assisted living and memory care wings can be scoped separately or read as one portfolio.
  2. Photos from the walk you already do. Eldermark's published apps describe no apartment photo field, so RapidEye sends a capture link that opens on any phone, no app to install. A fixed set of angles per unit, lights on, taken on the walk your team already does. If those photos already sit in a maintenance tool or a shared drive, RapidEye reads them there instead.
  3. A conversation with us. Tell us you run Eldermark and how many communities and apartments. We connect it with your team. Caregivers keep using Point of Care exactly as they do today.

What Eldermark records, app by app

Checked against Eldermark's published product documentation, September 2026.

Eldermark has been building for senior living for three decades and its platform is organized into four groups, each with its own apps inside Eldermark NEXT. Reading them together is the fastest way to see which questions the platform answers for you and which one it leaves to a photo. According to Eldermark's product documentation (eldermark.com), the groups break down like this.

Care

The clinical spine: charting, medication passes, real-time service documentation, and incidents recorded through pre-built surveys.

EHReMARPoint of CareRisk ManagementWISDOM2ACT

Growth

Leads, occupancy and the family relationship, from first inquiry through move-in and the ongoing conversation.

CRMeMediaResident Engagement

Revenue

Charges, invoices and resident payments, with services documented at the point of care flowing into the month's billing.

Operations

The reporting and paperwork layer: dashboards and analytics across the portfolio, electronic forms and signatures, and stored documents.

DashboardsElderSmartsElderFormsCloud Storage

Two details are worth pulling out for an operator deciding where a condition record should live. Dashboards ships with more than 250 built-in reports and a six-month trend analysis, so a portfolio-level trend has somewhere to go once it exists in structured form. And Cloud Storage is described as HIPAA-compliant object storage that you feed by scanning documents from a scanner, a desktop or a mobile device, which is a filing cabinet rather than an inspection record: a photo dropped there is stored, not read.

Does Eldermark track apartment condition or maintenance work orders?

Not as a published module. Point of Care documents services delivered to a resident, online or off, and pushes them into that resident's record. Risk Management records incidents through pre-built surveys and its dashboards pinpoint the time and location of each incident and the staff involved, which is the closest the platform gets to the building, and it is still an event log rather than a condition record. ElderForms handles electronic forms and signature collection through a partnership with WorldView. None of them is described as a maintenance or apartment condition system, and that is the ordinary shape of a platform built around the resident record: a resident has a chart, an apartment does not.

So the apartment's condition today lives in whatever photos somebody took, unreviewed, and the answer to "was 214 actually ready" is whoever walked it. That is the half RapidEye fills, sitting beside Eldermark rather than on top of it: the unit list comes from Eldermark, the photos come from the walk, and the finding comes back to a person who can act on it.

Eldermark integration FAQ

Does RapidEye integrate with Eldermark?

Yes. RapidEye reads the community and apartment list from Eldermark so every finding lands on the right unit, and reads the photos your team takes on a room-ready check, a move-out or an environment-of-care round. It returns a finding per issue with the before and after photos. Nothing in the EHR, the eMAR, Point of Care or billing is changed.

Does Eldermark track apartment condition or maintenance?

Its published product pages describe care, growth, revenue and operations apps: EHR, eMAR, Point of Care, Risk Management, CRM, Billing, Dashboards, ElderSmarts, ElderForms and Cloud Storage. None of them is described as a maintenance or apartment condition module. Eldermark is the record for the resident and the business, and physical condition is a separate artifact that RapidEye reads from photos.

Does RapidEye look at residents?

No. RapidEye reads the condition of spaces and equipment: floors, walls, bathrooms, furniture, grab bars, corridors and common areas. It makes no clinical or care-quality judgment of any kind, and people are not what it is looking at.

Can RapidEye check an apartment before a new resident moves in?

Yes. That is the check most communities run on trust today. Someone walks the apartment, decides it is ready, and the family sees it next. RapidEye reads the photos from that walk and returns what is still open: paint scuffs, a stained carpet, a loose grab bar, a bathroom that was cleaned around rather than cleaned.

Will RapidEye write anything into Eldermark?

No. Eldermark stays the record. RapidEye reads and reports back, and your director decides what becomes a work order, a charge against a deposit, or a note to the family.

We use video walkthroughs instead of photos. Does that work?

Yes, and it usually works better. RapidEye reads whatever documentation your team already produces, including video walkthroughs and 3D scans, and scores it against the standard your community cares about. Tell us the format you capture in and we set it up around it.
