AI housekeeping verification for Aiosell
Read the photos behind every room your team switches from dirty to clean in Aiosell, and get back what the broomstick icon cannot say.
Inside the Aiosell housekeeping moduleOverview
Aiosell's clean and dirty toggle is a gate on the front desk, not a report on the room. One tap on a broomstick icon in Stay View releases the room for check-in, and Aiosell tracks how long the room sat dirty, who is assigned to it and whether a maintenance ticket is open against it. What it never holds is a picture of the room at the moment somebody decided it was ready. RapidEye supplies that half: it reads the room list and the stay dates from Aiosell and the photos your housekeeping team takes, then returns a finding per room, tied to the stay that just ended.
How it works with Aiosell
Aiosell splits the work in two: the room status lives in the PMS, and everything that needs fixing lives in the housekeeping and maintenance module as a ticket. Photos sit awkwardly across that line, which is exactly where the checks belong.
- The room on its way from dirty to clean. The photos taken just before somebody taps the broomstick icon are the case for the room being ready. RapidEye reads them for the things a supervisor would catch on a walk: a bed made over a stained sheet, a mirror with streaks across it, hair in the shower drain, a bin liner nobody replaced, a bulb that did not come on when the lights were switched.
- The room on its way from occupied to dirty. The same room photographed at departure is the strongest damage record a hotel can hold. A burn on the desk, a chipped basin, a torn curtain hem: RapidEye compares each spot against how it looked after the last clean and reports what changed, with the Aiosell stay dates sitting between the two frames.
- Things that should be in the room and are not. Aiosell tracks linen and mini bar as their own stock, which tells you what left the store, never what is standing in room 204. RapidEye learns what a made-up room looks like at your property, so the missing second towel, the kettle borrowed for another room, the empty tea tray and the remote nobody has seen since Tuesday all come back as findings.
- Repairs, before and after they become a ticket. An Aiosell ticket carries a priority, an assignee and a status somebody updates, and can block the room out of order. It carries no evidence. RapidEye holds the photo from before the closure and the photo after the work, so a repair has a dated record and a contractor's invoice has something to sit against.
- Public areas and back of house. Aiosell names the lobby, banquets, the garden and the restaurant as areas you can configure and track. Those are photographable spaces, and RapidEye checks them the same way it checks a bedroom, against whatever your standard for that space is.
Every finding names the room or area, the exact spot, what kind of problem it is, how serious it is, the before and after frames, and a suggested next step. It lands in the RapidEye dashboard, and in a Slack channel or an inbox if your housekeeping desk wants it there. Nothing moves in Aiosell unless a person moves it. Photos are the easiest place to start, not the boundary: teams that would rather film a walkthrough than shoot stills, or that have 3D scans of their rooms, or that want findings scored against a brand standard of their own, get that configured with us on the first call.
How to connect Aiosell to RapidEye
- Your Aiosell rooms and areas. The rooms you switch between clean and dirty in Stay View or Rooms View are the rooms RapidEye checks. If you have configured extra areas in the maintenance module, tell us which of them you want photographed too.
- Where the room photos come from. Aiosell's clean and dirty toggle carries no photo, so RapidEye sends a capture link that opens on any phone with nothing to install: a fixed set of angles per room, lights on, taken before the room is switched to clean. If your team already photographs rooms in another app, RapidEye reads those instead.
- Add RapidEye as a user. Aiosell lets you create multiple users with permissions and privileges, including limited access to the housekeeping module. Create a user for Rapid Eye at support@rapideyeinspections.com with that housekeeping access, so RapidEye can see the rooms and the stay dates and nothing else.
Your housekeepers keep the same routine and the same broomstick icon. The only thing that is new is a handful of photos per room before the tap.
Inside the Aiosell housekeeping and maintenance module
Checked against Aiosell's product pages and support helpdesk, September 2026.
Aiosell is a cloud all-in-one hotel system built around a single login, and housekeeping is one module inside it rather than a separate app. According to Aiosell's help centre documentation (aiosell.com), a room is marked clean by opening the PMS Stay View, finding the room number, and clicking the broomstick icon that indicates the room is currently dirty; clicking it again puts the room back to dirty, and the same toggle exists in Rooms View. That is the whole quality workflow: two states and one icon. Aiosell's housekeeping pages add the consequence that makes the toggle load-bearing, which is that a check-in cannot be made to a room until it is marked clean, and that the time a room spends dirty is tracked.
Everything a housekeeper actually finds goes somewhere else, into a ticket. Aiosell documents the ticket as a configurable record, and the fields it names are worth reading one at a time, because between them they describe a system that is very good at routing work and has no way of showing you anything.

Can housekeepers upload room photos in Aiosell?
Only in one place, and not this one. Aiosell's housekeeping and maintenance page describes an Operations Module alongside the ticket system, for daily tasks that are deliberately not connected to the PMS, and its examples of those tasks are taking photos of a team meeting, uploading videos of the property and recording operational metrics. So Aiosell can hold media, it simply does not hold it against a room, a clean or a ticket. Searching the Aiosell support helpdesk for housekeeping returns no articles at all, and the photo articles it does return are about loading room-type images into the booking engine. Meanwhile Aiosell has invested in measuring the clean from the outside instead: it integrates occupancy sensors that infer, from electricity use, how long a housekeeper spent in each room. That number tells a manager somebody was in there for eleven minutes. It cannot tell them what those eleven minutes produced. The photo can, and reading it is the part RapidEye adds.
Aiosell integration FAQ
Does RapidEye integrate with Aiosell?
Yes. RapidEye reads the room list and the stay dates from Aiosell and the photos your housekeeping team takes in each room, then returns a finding for every room switched from dirty to clean: new damage, cleaning that was missed, an item that is gone, a repair that needs raising. Your Aiosell room statuses, tickets, out of order entries and bookings stay exactly as they are. RapidEye writes nothing back.
Can you attach a photo to a room in Aiosell housekeeping?
Not to the clean or dirty status. Aiosell documents the broomstick icon in Stay View and Rooms View as a two-state toggle with no attachment, and its housekeeping and maintenance pages describe tickets with an assignee, a priority, a status and a link to a room number rather than an image. The one place Aiosell's own documentation describes uploading photos and videos is the Operations Module, for daily tasks that are not connected to the PMS. Room photos for RapidEye come from your housekeeper's phone through a capture link, or from whatever app your team already photographs rooms in.
Aiosell blocks check-in until a room is marked clean. Does that mean the room is clean?
It means somebody tapped the broomstick icon. Aiosell's own housekeeping documentation says check-in cannot be made to a room unless it is marked clean, which makes the toggle a gate on the front desk rather than a measure of the room. The person under time pressure to clear that gate is the same person the gate is meant to check. RapidEye reads the photos taken in that room and says whether the toggle was telling the truth.
Does RapidEye create tickets or out of order entries in Aiosell?
No. Aiosell stays in charge of the property. Findings land in the RapidEye dashboard and, if you want them there, in a Slack channel or an inbox. Whether a finding becomes an Aiosell ticket with a priority and an assignee, or an out of order block on the room, is a decision your team makes with the evidence in front of it.
We run several hotels on one Aiosell group login. Does that work?
Yes, and it is the case this is most useful for. Aiosell documents housekeeping and maintenance across an entire group of properties with common group users and shared status and people configuration. RapidEye reads every property in the group and reports per room, per property and per housekeeper, so the pattern that only shows up across eight hotels stops hiding in eight separate room status reports.
Can RapidEye check public areas as well as guest rooms?
Yes. Aiosell already lets you define areas beyond the guest rooms, naming the lobby, banquets, the garden and the restaurant as examples, and track tasks against them. RapidEye reads photos of any space you photograph, so a lobby, a corridor, a pool deck or a back of house store is checked the same way a bedroom is. Tell us which areas matter and what good looks like in each.
