AI turnover inspection for RentalReady
Read the photos your agents upload on the RentalReady mission checklist and get a finding back on every mission, not only the ones somebody flagged.
How RentalReady missions workOverview
A RentalReady checklist proves the agent answered the questions, not that the property is right. Every mission carries one, built from steps that can ask for a number, a time, a yes or no, a text, a PDF or a file, and the agent cannot mark the mission complete until it is filled in. The File steps are where the turnover photos land, and once the checklist is submitted nobody opens them again. RapidEye reads your property list and mission dates from RentalReady and the photos and video submitted with each checklist, then returns a finding per mission with the earlier photo of that same room beside the new one.
How it works with RentalReady
RentalReady generates missions from reservations, so the checks follow the mission types it generates. These are the common ones rather than the limits of the product: RapidEye reads whatever a team already captures, photos, a video walkthrough of the whole unit, or a 3D scan, and reports against the standard you actually care about, so if your case is not below, ask rather than assume.
- Cleaning missions. The departing guest's stay sits between the last set of checklist photos and today's. A ring on the table, a chipped worktop or a missing bath mat comes back with both photos and the dates between them, attributed to the reservation that spans the gap.
- Check-in missions. The property has been standing empty. RapidEye reports dust, a dead bulb, a heater that was left running, and the small things a greeter walking in on time does not stop to notice.
- Check-out missions. The mission where damage is cheapest to catch. Findings are grouped by room and by severity so a manager can look at the two that matter and skip the forty that do not.
- Extra missions. Linen drops, maintenance visits and owner stays leave the property different from how the last checklist showed it. RapidEye holds the before and the after either side of that visit.
- Checklist answers. A step that asks "Is the oven clean?" gets a yes, and a File step two questions later shows the oven. RapidEye reads the pair.
Every finding names the property, the room, the spot, the type of problem, a severity, the earlier photo next to the new one, and a suggested next step. It lands in the RapidEye dashboard, and in a Slack channel or an inbox if your operations desk prefers that. What happens next in RentalReady is yours: a re-clean mission, a HomeReady ticket, a word with the agency, or nothing. A different kind of input or a use case of your own, video instead of photos, a bespoke inspection format, an owner-facing report, is something we set up with you.
How to connect RentalReady to RapidEye
- Your RentalReady properties. A RentalReady account with the properties you turn over, attached to the office whose missions you want read. Properties in an office you leave out stay out.
- Photos on the checklist. At least one File step on the cleaning and check-in checklist templates the missions use, so agents upload photos or video from the RentalReady Missions app. If your agents photograph turnovers somewhere else, or you would rather they walked the property on video, RapidEye reads that instead.
- Add RapidEye as a staff user. In RentalReady, go to Users then Staff users and add Rapid Eye at support@rapideyeinspections.com, assigned to the offices you want covered. We accept the invitation and the findings start.
The RentalReady mission, and what its checklist can prove
Checked against RentalReady's help centre, September 2026.
RentalReady calls the unit of field work a mission: a task tied to a property and an event. According to RentalReady's help centre documentation (rentalready.com), missions linked to reservations are generated automatically from your office and property settings, and a cleaning mission is created half an hour after the reservation appears. There are four types.
Each type can carry sub-types, and a checklist template can be bound to an office, a property, a mission type or a mission sub-type, so a coastal villa and a city studio can be held to different lists. Agents work the mission in the RentalReady Missions app on iOS and Android, and a checklist is what they must fill in to mark the mission complete.
What a checklist step can actually collect
A checklist is made of steps, and each step is a question with a field type. Six are available, and exactly one of them holds an image.
Two settings around the checklist are worth knowing before you trust one. Agent geolocation, set per office, requires the agent to be within a set distance of the property to submit, with mission types and sub-types that can be excluded. Past checklists, also set per office and then per agent, allow a checklist to be completed after the mission date. Selecting amenities on a template auto-generates yes or no questions in the form "Is X working?" and "Is X in the property?", which is a fast way to build a long list of unverified assertions.
Does RentalReady check the photos on a mission?
Not the photos, no. RentalReady's quality tooling reads other things. A mission incident is raised by the agent from the agent space: they press report a problem, pick a category, upload photos or videos and add a comment, and it lands in the incidents tab with a status of New, Ignored, Closed or Ticket created. A property audit uses artificial intelligence, but on guest reviews rather than on images: it summarises public and private reviews from up to the previous six months into maintenance issues, cleaning issues, suggested improvements and listing accuracy. The property score is an amenity checklist, an average across a fixed list of critical and suggested amenities that the documentation says is not customisable. All three are useful, and all three depend either on the agent choosing to report or on a guest having already been let down.
The status ladder shows the same shape. A mission moves through statuses of its own, and the active status is what the agent sets.
- New
- Assigned
- Awaiting validation
- To do
- In progress
- Done
Cancelled and Archived sit outside the run. Done means the agent finished and submitted; nothing in that word is about the state of the property. That is the gap this integration fills: the File steps already hold the evidence, and RapidEye is what reads them.
RentalReady integration FAQ
Does RapidEye integrate with RentalReady?
Yes. RapidEye reads your property list and mission dates from RentalReady and the photos and videos your agents upload against the mission checklist, then returns a finding per mission: damage, a missed clean, a missing item, or something that needs a ticket, with the earlier photo beside the new one. Missions, checklists, statuses, agents and tickets in RentalReady are not changed.
Where do photos live on a RentalReady mission?
On the checklist. A checklist is built from steps, and one of the step field types is File, where the agent uploads a set number of photos or videos between a minimum and a maximum the template sets. Those files sit against the mission the agent submitted them on, which is exactly what RapidEye reads.
Can RapidEye check a mission already marked Done?
Yes. Done in RentalReady means the agent finished and submitted the checklist. RapidEye reads the photos submitted with it and says whether the property agrees: a bed made badly, a stain that was not there last turnover, a lamp that has gone, a checklist question answered yes against a photo that shows otherwise.
Is this the same as a mission incident?
No. A mission incident is something the agent chose to report, with a category, a comment and photos or videos they selected. RapidEye works the other way round: it reads every photo submitted on every mission, including the ones nobody flagged, which is where the misses are.
Will RapidEye change missions or open HomeReady tickets?
No. RentalReady stays in charge of missions, assignments, statuses and tickets. RapidEye reads and reports, and your staff user decides whether a finding becomes a ticket, a re-clean, or a charge.
Does RapidEye work across several RentalReady offices?
Yes. Checklist templates, geolocation and past-checklist settings are all set per office in RentalReady, so two offices can run different standards. RapidEye learns each property from its own photo history rather than from one shared rulebook, so a Paris studio and a coastal villa are each judged against themselves.
