AI inspections for RealPage Senior Living

Read the apartment and common-area photos your community already takes, tie each one to the unit on your RealPage Senior Living census, and get a condition finding back for every space.

What RealPage Senior Living records today

Overview

RealPage Senior Living is a record of who lives where, what care they receive and what it costs; it is not a record of what the apartment looks like. Its modules cover leads and leasing, care assessments, an eMAR interface, census with automated move-in and move-out, incident documentation, accounting and document management, which is the whole administrative spine of a community. The physical side, the scuffed corridor, the loose grab bar, the tub room nobody has photographed since the last survey, lives on phones. RapidEye reads the unit list and move dates from your RealPage Senior Living census and the photos your staff take in those spaces, and returns a finding for each one: where it is, what kind of problem, how serious, with the earlier photo beside the new one.

Every apartment on the censusIndependent living, assisted living and memory care units all get read, not a sample the director had time for.
Condition with a date on itA finding carries the photo from before and the photo from now, so a repair or a charge has evidence behind it.
Rooms only, never residentsRapidEye looks at spaces, fixtures and equipment. Clinical records, charts and residents themselves are out of scope.

How it works with RealPage Senior Living

The census already knows which apartment is turning, which is occupied and which was just released, so the checks follow the same rhythm your community managers work to.

  • Move-outs. RealPage Senior Living automates the move-out and drops the unit back into availability. RapidEye reads the photos taken in the empty apartment against the ones from when the resident arrived, and comes back with the wall the wheelchair caught, the missing closet shelf, the bathroom door that no longer closes.
  • Make-readies before a move-in. Between the release and the next arrival somebody paints, patches and cleans. The finding says which of those actually happened in the photos, and what is still open on the day the family walks in.
  • Housekeeping and room readiness. Daily and weekly cleans in occupied apartments are the work nobody has time to inspect. RapidEye reads what the housekeeper photographed and flags the untouched bathroom, the full bin, the bulb that has been out for a fortnight.
  • Environment-of-care and safety rounds. Corridors, dining rooms, tub rooms, laundries, mechanical spaces. These are the spaces a surveyor and a touring family both see, and the ones that never appear in a unit-level record. Photographed on a round, they get read the same way an apartment does.
  • Maintenance work. Where your technicians already attach photos to a work order, RapidEye reads the before and after and tells you whether the repair matches the request.
  • Alongside incident documentation. RealPage Senior Living's incident module is built to document and report incidents and show trends across events such as falls. RapidEye never touches an incident record, but a dated photo of the corridor, the threshold or the bathroom floor from before and after is a useful thing for the person reviewing one to have.

A finding names the community, the unit or common area, the spot in the room, the type of problem, a severity, both photos and a suggested next step. It lands in the RapidEye dashboard, and in an inbox or a Slack channel for the maintenance office if you want one. Nothing is written back: your manager decides whether it becomes a RealPage work order, a charge, or nothing. These are examples rather than limits. If your community documents with video walkthroughs, 3D scans or an inspection form of your own, or you want findings scored against a standard nobody else uses, that is a conversation we have with you rather than something you have to work around.

How to connect RealPage Senior Living to RapidEye

  1. The account and the unit list. A RealPage Senior Living account with your communities set up and the apartments carried on the census. Independent living, assisted living and memory care units all count; RapidEye works from the same unit numbers your census uses.
  2. Where the photos come from. If your maintenance team already photographs work orders and inspections on RealPage's maintenance mobile app, RapidEye reads those. If nobody has a place to put a photo today, RapidEye sends a capture link that opens on any phone with no app to install, for a fixed set of angles per room.
  3. The invite. Tell us the RealPage Senior Living account and which communities to start with, and add RapidEye as a user. The Connect panel on this page has the name and email to use.

What RealPage Senior Living records about an apartment

Checked against RealPage's senior living product pages, September 2026.

According to RealPage's senior living product documentation (realpage.com), RealPage Senior Living is a single property management platform for assisted living, independent living and dementia care communities, running from prospect management through payment collection. Its own pages describe the modules below. Each one is precise about a different question, and the column underneath says what a photograph of the same apartment answers that the record cannot.

CensusAccurate census management

RealPage describes automating move-in and move-out and knowing resident locations, kept in real time in sync with the property management system.

The census says the apartment is available. The photo says whether it is presentable.

RiskIncident management

Documents and reports all incidents and surfaces trends, for events RealPage names as falls, altercations and accidents.

A dated image of the floor, the threshold or the lighting where an event happened, held before anyone needed it.

CareCare management and assessments

Real-time medication information through an interface to an eMAR, assessments performed as needed, automated trend reporting, caregiver task completion monitoring.

Nothing. This is the clinical half of the account and RapidEye stays out of it entirely.

FinanceCommunity management

Care fee charges calculated from the acuity score of an assessment, posted to the resident ledger on acceptance, with accounting, budgeting and document management alongside.

The evidence behind a condition charge, rather than a care charge that an assessment already justifies.

OccupancyLeads, contact centre, websites

An integrated lead generation platform, a dedicated senior contact centre, and property websites RealPage describes as carrying virtual tours and property photography.

Whether the apartment a tour walks into still looks like the one on the website.

OversightBusiness intelligence and staffing

Reporting to stakeholders through RealPage Business Intelligence, plus staff management tools for over- and understaffing across communities.

A condition trend per community and per building, sitting next to the occupancy and staffing ones.

Modules as described on RealPage's senior living pages. The lower half of each block is what the integration adds.

Does RealPage Senior Living store photos of an apartment's condition?

Its senior living pages do not describe one. They describe the census, care management and assessments, the eMAR interface, incident documentation, the resident ledger, document management, the contact centre and business intelligence, and the only photography they mention is the property photography and virtual tours on a community's marketing website. That is not an omission on RealPage's part so much as a division of labour: the senior living suite was built to run the community, and physical condition sits on the property operations side of the platform, where RealPage documents maintenance management with a mobile app for technicians to perform inspections, create service requests and track work orders offline, asset tracking down to unit-level building components, condition assessments for due diligence, and an AI Facilities Agent that sequences make-ready plans and guides inspections in the field.

Two things follow for a senior living operator. Where your community runs that maintenance side, photos already exist on work orders and inspections, and RapidEye reads them without asking anyone to change how they work. Where it does not, and in most communities the corridor, the tub room and the daily housekeeping clean are photographed on somebody's personal phone or not at all, a RapidEye capture link gives those photos a home and a unit number. Either way the reading is the part that was missing: a photo attached to a record is proof that a photo was taken, and a photo somebody actually compared to last month's is proof of what changed.

RealPage Senior Living integration FAQ

Does RapidEye integrate with RealPage Senior Living?

Yes. RapidEye reads the unit list and the move-in and move-out dates carried in your RealPage Senior Living census, together with the apartment and common-area photos your staff already take, and returns a condition finding per space: damage, a missed clean, a missing item, a maintenance issue. Nothing in RealPage Senior Living is edited. The census, the resident record, the ledger and the incident log stay exactly as your team left them.

Does RealPage Senior Living store photos of an apartment's condition?

Its senior living product pages do not describe one. They describe census, care management, assessments, an eMAR interface, incident management, document management, accounting and business intelligence. RealPage documents mobile inspections and photo-carrying work orders on its maintenance management product, which sits on the same property operations platform. Where those photos exist RapidEye reads them, and where they do not, a RapidEye capture link supplies them.

Can RapidEye check a make-ready before the next resident moves in?

Yes. That is the moment it was built for. RealPage Senior Living automates the move-out and move-in and tells you the apartment is available. RapidEye reads the photos taken in that apartment and says whether it is actually ready: the chipped door frame, the grab bar someone removed, the burnt-out closet bulb, the blind that no longer draws.

Does RapidEye read anything clinical?

No. RapidEye reads the condition of rooms, fixtures, furniture and equipment. It does not read residents, charts, medications or care records, and it has no interest in the clinical half of your RealPage Senior Living account.

Will RapidEye change the census or post a charge in RealPage Senior Living?

No. RealPage Senior Living stays the system of record for the unit, the resident, the ledger and every care fee. RapidEye reads photos and reports what they show. Your manager decides whether a finding becomes a work order, a charge or nothing at all.

We photograph environment-of-care rounds on a phone. Can RapidEye use those?

Yes. Rounds photos are some of the most useful input we get, because they cover corridors, dining rooms, tub rooms and mechanical spaces that no move-out ever touches. Photos, video walkthroughs and 3D scans all work, and the standard RapidEye checks against is the one your community already uses.
