How CorityOne audits work

Overview

A Cority audit answers the questions somebody asked; the photos beside the answers hold everything nobody asked about. CorityOne plans the inspection, carries the form into the field in myCority, records the finding, routes the corrective action and reports completion across every site. What no schedule can size is the image pile that comes back: a hundred sites, a monthly walk each, a dozen frames a walk, and one EHS team. RapidEye reads that pile. It takes the photos on your inspections, audits and observations plus the site, the area and the date, and returns a finding per issue, with the earlier photo of that same area next to the new one.

How it works with Cority

Cority's audit and inspection program runs as a loop: plan and schedule, capture in the field, record findings and corrective actions, then watch performance on a dashboard. RapidEye attaches to the middle of that loop, where the images are, and the checks follow the record types your program already uses.

  • Scheduled inspections. A monthly walk of the same line produces the same frames every month. RapidEye holds them side by side and names what moved: a fire extinguisher that is no longer on its bracket, a pallet stacked into the aisle, a machine guard that used to be there.
  • Audits against a standard. An auditor photographs what a question is about, then answers the question. RapidEye reads the photo on its own terms: the label that peeled off the drum in the corner of the frame, the eyewash station behind the auditor's subject, the spill that had not been mentioned.
  • Observations and hazard IDs. The quick shot somebody sends in from the floor is the most under-read photo in any EHS program. RapidEye handles those the same way it handles a formal audit, and ties each one to the area it came from.
  • Housekeeping and condition drift. The slow kind: a floor marking wearing away, a leak restarting under the same fitting, a storage area filling up over four months. Nobody remembers month three. The baseline for that area does.
  • Contractor and multi-site work. The same standard read the same way at every site, so a plant in one country and a plant in another are scored by one eye rather than by whoever walked them.

Every finding names the site and the area, where in the frame the issue sits, what kind it is, how serious it looks, the earlier photo beside the new one, and a suggested next step. Findings land in the RapidEye dashboard, and in an inbox or a Slack channel for the EHS team if you want them there; whether one becomes a Cority finding or a corrective action is your team's decision, made in Cority. If your input is not a photo, a walkthrough video from a phone or a set of scans of a plant area, that reads the same way, and if you inspect against a standard of your own we set that up with you.

How to connect Cority to RapidEye

  1. Name the sites and the record types. Which sites start, and which records matter: inspections, audits, observations, or all three. Areas are the unit RapidEye works in, so a line, a dock, a chemical store, a lab.
  2. Point us at the photos. If your teams already photograph what they inspect in myCority, RapidEye reads those images. If a site does not, a RapidEye capture link opens on any phone with no app to install: a fixed set of angles per area, taken before the record is submitted.
  3. Give RapidEye read access. Cority access is administered by your own team under its roles and permissions, so tell us the account and we set it up with your administrator on a short call. Field staff keep using myCority exactly as they do now.

How audits and inspections work in CorityOne

Cority is an enterprise EHS platform, and CorityOne is the platform its solutions sit in: safety, environmental, occupational health, quality and sustainability against one set of data. According to Cority's product documentation (cority.com), its audit and inspection software standardizes safety, environmental, quality and compliance audits in one system aligned with the ISO 19011 auditing guidelines, and the program runs through four stages that every EHS manager on it will recognize.

Cority describes the mobile half as myCority, a secure mobile web app that carries incidents, inspections, observations and assigned tasks to any device and works offline, syncing automatically when connectivity returns.

Two details matter for anyone thinking about photos here. The first is that the mobile capture is offline-first, which means the field data is complete rather than whatever survived a dead zone at the back of a plant. The second is governance: Cority documents roles, permissions and data access defined by site or user group, so what an integration can see is decided by your administrator and not by us.

Does Cority already read the photos on a record?

For the photo you hand it, yes. Cority's Cortex AI is a set of EHS agents inside CorityOne, governed through a control centre where you decide what is automated and what data it touches. Two of them are about exactly this material: the Incident Image Analysis Agent, where adding a spill or damage photo has Cortex AI estimate size, spread and affected areas while prompting for the essentials of a complete incident record, and the Audit Insights Agent, which reviews audit history to surface recurring issues, hotspots and trends. That is a strong platform to be standing on, and it is the reason a Cority site is one of the easier places to add a photo layer.

What is left is the arithmetic of a mature program. Cortex AI's image agent works on the photo an operator chose to submit for a specific record; the trend agent works on audit history, which is answers. The rest of the images, the ones taken as evidence on routine inspections and observations across every site every month, are read the day they arrive and rarely again. RapidEye is a second pass over that whole stream: every image on every submitted record, compared to a baseline of what that area looks like when nothing is wrong, so a hazard nobody typed into an answer still reaches somebody.

No, and it is not meant to. Cority plans the audit, holds the form, records the finding, routes the corrective action and reports on completion across sites. RapidEye is a second pass over the images those records collect, so a hazard nobody typed into an answer still reaches somebody. Auditors keep working the way they work now.

Can it read the photos already sitting on past Cority records?

Yes, and that is usually the first thing it does. The images on your past inspections and audits are what a baseline for each area is built from: what that line, that dock, that chemical store looks like when nothing is wrong. Drift shows up against that baseline rather than against somebody's memory of the last visit.

Does RapidEye make compliance decisions?

No. RapidEye reports what it sees in an image and how serious it looks. Regulatory judgment, the audit result and every corrective action stay with your EHS team and with Cority.
