AI photo review for CiiRUS tasks

RapidEye reads the photos your cleaners, inspectors and maintenance techs upload in the CiiRUS Task Manager portal, and returns a finding for every task they complete.

Inside a CiiRUS Task Template

Overview

CiiRUS already collects the photos. The Task Report is a filing cabinet, not a reviewer. Task Manager walks a cleaner through the sections and items you defined in a Task Template, refuses to let the task close until every question, requirement and photo upload is satisfied, and files the result as a Task Report you can open from the completed clean in the Housekeeping grid. That is a real evidence trail, and it is more than most operators in this industry have. What it is not is a second pair of eyes: a report exists for every turn, and nobody has time to open a report for every turn. RapidEye reads all of them, matches each finding to the unit and the reservation, and returns the ones worth your attention.

Every required photo, readThe photo requirements you wrote into the template are the ones RapidEye checks, item by item, on every task.
Findings the guest causedThis task's frames against the last known state of the same spot, with the reservation between them.
CiiRUS stays the recordTrust accounting, work orders, inspection statuses and owner statements are untouched. RapidEye reads and reports.

How it works with CiiRUS

CiiRUS gives property care three task types on one portal, and each of them puts a camera in front of a different problem. RapidEye reads them where they already are.

  • Housekeeping tasks. The departure clean is where guest damage and missed cleaning both surface, and where the photos are densest because the template asks for them room by room. RapidEye reads the room shots against the last clean of the same unit. Picture a task that closes green and comes back with one finding: a scorch on the quartz worktop that is not in last week's frame of the same worktop, both images side by side, dated to the reservation that just checked out.
  • Inspections. CiiRUS can schedule a post-departure inspection automatically to the unit's default inspector, and lets you define your own inspection types and statuses. A status like Minor issue or Needs review tells you a judgement was made; RapidEye tells you what was in the frame when it was made, and flags the units where the photos and the status do not agree.
  • Work orders. A work order carries a subject like a broken mirror in the master bathroom and a vendor assigned to fix it. RapidEye keeps the photo from before the work and the photo after, so the repair has a dated record before the cost reaches the owner statement.
  • Reported Issues. When a cleaner raises an issue with a photo or video attached, RapidEye reads it alongside everything else and says whether the damage is new since the last task on that unit or has been in frame for weeks. That is the difference between a chargeable claim and an argument.
  • Back-to-back cleans. Task Manager flags a task as back-to-back, and the Housekeeping report prints those dates in red. Those are the turns with the least slack and the least review, which makes them the ones most worth reading first.

Each finding names the unit, the room, the spot, the kind of problem, how serious it is, the before and after photos and a suggested next step. It lands in the RapidEye dashboard, and in a Slack channel or an inbox if you want it there. Whether it becomes a Reported Issue, a follow-up clean or a work order in CiiRUS is your call. If your team documents turnovers with walkthrough video or 3D scans rather than stills, or you want findings scored against a standard of your own, say so and we set that up with you.

How to connect CiiRUS to RapidEye

  1. A CiiRUS account with your units and property care running. The units you want covered, with housekeeping, maintenance or inspections scheduled to your vendors and contacts.
  2. Photos from the Task Manager portal. The photo requirements in your Task Templates, plus anything dropped into Upload Media on the task, are what RapidEye reads. Where a unit runs cleans with no template, RapidEye sends a capture link instead: it opens in any phone browser, nothing to install, a fixed set of angles per room.
  3. Add RapidEye as a system user. Users are added under User and Account Settings, Users and Permissions, and only an Administrator account can add them. The connect box has the name and email to use.

Inside a CiiRUS Task Template, and what it can prove

Checked against the CiiRUS help centre and product pages, September 2026.

CiiRUS has been family owned since 2008 and sells to professional managers who want trust accounting, channel management, reservations and property care in one system. Task Manager is the newest layer of that: according to CiiRUS help centre documentation (ciirus.com), it sits on top of the legacy Housekeeping, Maintenance and Inspection modules, and its stated goals include fixed expectations, reference photos, central documentation of procedures, and a paper trail with time-stamped photographic evidence. The portal itself is browser based, multi-lingual, works offline and shows a staff member their assigned jobs across an eight-week window, which is a thoughtful piece of design for teams working in cell-signal dead zones.

The template is where an operator's standards actually live. A template holds sections, which are usually rooms, and each section holds Questions and Requirements. There are seven kinds, and choosing between them is the single most consequential setup decision on the platform.

Produces an imagePhotoThe staff member must upload a photo of a room or item. CiiRUS's own example asks for a shot of the room from the doorway so the starting condition is visible.Read on every task, against the same frame from last time.
JudgementConditionPick one of Good, Dirty, Damaged or Not Working for a room or item. CiiRUS's example is specifying the condition of the toaster oven.RapidEye answers the same question from the picture and flags disagreements.
JudgementRatingRate a room or item one to five. The example given is rating how the guest left the home.A number without evidence becomes a number with evidence.
JudgementYes/NoA yes or no answer, such as whether the room needs a supplemental inspection.Findings tell you when the answer should have been yes.
CountCountA numerical count of an item, such as toilet paper rolls in the storage closet, with an instruction to open an issue if more is needed.RapidEye counts what is in the photo of the shelf.
Free textText EntryA free-form response, such as a one or two sentence summary of the room's condition. The summary and the photo behind it, compared.
SequenceChecklistA series of steps to accomplish before moving on, such as checking under the bed, in the drawers and among the used bedsheets for guest belongings.Ticked steps are read against the frame that covers them.

Any Question or Requirement can be set to require a photo alongside the answer, and you can attach a reference photo showing how the finished item should look.

That reference photo is the underrated feature here. It is a written standard, made by you, sitting next to the field that captures reality. Almost nobody has time to compare the two on hundreds of tasks a week, which is precisely the comparison RapidEye makes on every one.

What does a completed CiiRUS task actually prove?

It proves the process ran. A task moves from Pending to In Progress when the staff member taps Start Task, and CiiRUS is explicit that it cannot be marked complete until every Question and Requirement inside it has been satisfied. That is a strong guarantee and a narrow one, so it is worth being precise about which side of the line each thing falls on.

What the Task Report establishes

  • Every requirement in the template was answered
  • Every required photo was uploaded
  • Who the task belonged to and when it closed
  • Any issue the staff member chose to report, with their media

What it leaves to a human

  • Whether the uploaded photo shows a clean room
  • Whether the answer given matches the photo beside it
  • Whether anything is new since the last stay
  • Whether an item that should be in frame is missing

CiiRUS is candid about the boundary in one small place worth quoting in spirit: the Issue Status field on a Reported Issue is described as a visual reference that does not update or link to the follow-up tasks created from it. The platform is telling you honestly that its statuses are labels people apply, not conclusions the system reached. The photos underneath them are the only unmediated record of the property, and reading all of them is the job RapidEye takes off your desk.

CiiRUS integration FAQ

Does RapidEye integrate with CiiRUS?

Yes. RapidEye reads the photos your staff and vendors upload against Question and Requirement items in the CiiRUS Task Manager portal, along with the unit, the task type and the reservation the task belongs to, and returns a finding per problem with the before and after frames. Your housekeeping grid, maintenance work orders, inspections, reported issues and owner statements are untouched.

Who reads the photos on a CiiRUS Task Report?

A person, if one goes looking. CiiRUS documents the Task Report as showing the answers to the questions, the results of the requirements and any required photos, opened from the paper icon on a completed clean in the Housekeeping grid. It is a paper trail with time-stamped photographic evidence, built to be there when you need it rather than reviewed on every turn. RapidEye reads every report as it closes.

Can RapidEye check a task that CiiRUS marked complete?

Yes, and completion is exactly why it is worth checking. A CiiRUS task cannot be finished until every Question and Requirement in it has been satisfied, so a complete task means the photo was uploaded and the box was ticked, not that the room passed. RapidEye reads the uploaded photo against the reference photo on that requirement and against the last known state of the same spot, and reports what it actually shows.

How does this compare to a Condition requirement in a Task Template?

The Condition type asks a staff member to pick Good, Dirty, Damaged or Not Working for a room or item, so its accuracy depends on who is tapping. RapidEye answers the same question from the photo, on every item in every task, and flags where the picture and the answer disagree. Teams usually keep their Condition requirements and use the findings as the check on them.

Does RapidEye replace Reported Issues in CiiRUS?

No. A Reported Issue is raised when a staff member notices something and chooses to report it, and CiiRUS lets you convert it into a follow-up clean, work order or inspection. RapidEye catches what nobody raised, because it compares this task's photos to the last known state of the same spot. Findings arrive in the RapidEye dashboard and you decide which ones become an issue or a work order in CiiRUS.

Will RapidEye write anything into CiiRUS?

No. CiiRUS stays the system of record for reservations, trust accounting, work orders, inspection statuses and owner statements. RapidEye reads and reports; findings land in the RapidEye dashboard and, if you want them there, in a Slack channel or an inbox.

What if a unit has no Task Template assigned?

It still works. Where a clean runs without a template and no photos are produced, RapidEye supplies a capture link that opens in any phone browser with nothing to install, taking a fixed set of angles per room. Where a template exists, RapidEye reads the photos the template already requires and nothing about the cleaner's routine changes.
