AI changeover inspection for Bookster

Read the photos from every changeover and check the property before it is toggled Ready on your Bookster arrivals and departures report.

What a Bookster cleaner login shows

Overview

Ready in Bookster is a claim about a property, not a check of it. Bookster gives a cleaner a secure limited login, shows them the arrivals and departures for the properties they cover, and lets them flip the booking between Ready and Unprepared. Nothing in that flow looks at the property. RapidEye reads your property list, arrival and departure dates and the cleaning notes carried on the booking, together with the photos taken at the changeover, and returns a finding for every property toggled Ready: what is damaged, what was not cleaned, and what is missing, with the photo that shows it.

Ready, checkedEvery property a cleaner marks Ready gets its photos read, not a sample of the busy Saturdays.
Tied to the bookingA finding names the property, the departure it followed and the arrival it sits in front of.
Evidence for the depositThe same spot before the stay and after it, so a withheld damage deposit has a picture behind it.

How it works with Bookster

A Bookster changeover has a shape: a departure, a turnaround, an arrival, and a person in the middle who is trusted to say when the property is ready. RapidEye attaches to each of those points rather than to a screen.

  • The departure. The photos taken when the cleaner first walks in are the closest record of how the guest left the property. RapidEye reads them against the last known state of the same spot, so a chip in the worktop that was already there in June is not blamed on this guest, and a new one is.
  • The cleaning notes on the booking. Bookster carries notes and any extras the guest booked through to the cleaner. Ask for a cot, a high chair or a particular bed set-up and RapidEye can check the photos for whether the thing is actually in the room, not whether someone said it was.
  • The Ready toggle. When the property is flipped to Ready, the after photos are read for guest readiness: an unmade bed, a streaked mirror, hair in a drain, a bin not emptied, a lamp with no working bulb. Rooms the photos never covered come back as not covered, which is the finding people are usually most surprised by.
  • The turnaround time. Bookster shows the gap between a departure and the next arrival. A same-day turn with a short gap is exactly where a property gets signed off quickly, so those are the changeovers most worth reading, and the ones an in-person inspector never reaches.
  • The damage deposit. Bookster can withhold or partially refund a deposit when damage occurs. RapidEye does not touch that. It produces the finding and the pair of photos you would want in front of you before deciding.

A finding says which property, which room, where in the room, what kind of problem it is, how bad it is, and shows the photo of that spot before the stay next to the one after it. Each finding lands in the RapidEye dashboard; teams that live in Slack or email can have it delivered there too. What happens next in Bookster, whether that is flipping the booking back to Unprepared, adding a note for the cleaner or deducting from a deposit, stays your decision in Bookster. And if your changeovers produce something other than photos, video walkthroughs, 3D scans, or an inspection format you built yourself, that is a setup conversation rather than a limit: tell us the shape and we read it.

How to connect Bookster to RapidEye

  1. Your properties and your arrivals and departures. In Bookster, the Arrivals and Departures report in the Bookings section is where a changeover exists: the property, the departure, the next arrival and the turnaround time between them. That report and the property list behind it are what RapidEye reads, so every finding lands on the right property and the right stay.
  2. Where the changeover photos come from. If your cleaners already photograph the property at the end of a changeover, or run photo checklists in Turno, RapidEye reads those. If they do not, a RapidEye capture link goes out with the changeover: any phone, no app to install, a fixed set of angles per room, taken before the property is toggled Ready.
  3. Ask Bookster for a limited access login. Bookster arranges limited cleaner and team logins for you. Send Bookster the name Rapid Eye and the email support@rapideyeinspections.com along with the properties the user should see, exactly as you would for a new cleaner. We accept the invitation and email you when your first findings are ready.

What a Bookster cleaner login actually shows

Checked against Bookster's own feature documentation, September 2026.

Bookster's Cleaner and Maintenance module is not a task list in the way an operations platform means it. It is a filtered view of your bookings, given to a person who is not allowed to see the rest of the account. That is a sensible design for a small self-catering team, and it is worth understanding exactly, because the shape of the view is what decides how much of a changeover the office can see afterwards.

According to Bookster's own feature documentation (booksterhq.com), a registered cleaner sees a fixed set of fields on each booking, and can do exactly one thing to it.

Cleaner view of a booking
ReadyUnprepared
Property name
Which property to go to
Guest size
How many people the property is being set up for
Arrival and departure day
Which changeover this is
Arrival and departure time
The window the clean has to fit inside
Cleaning notes
Anything the office added, plus booked add-ons and extras when the add to notes setting is ticked
Booking status
Ready or Unprepared, and the cleaner can change it
Booking reference
The thread back to the stay
Bookster documents these seven fields as the cleaner's limited view, with Ready and Unprepared as the one status a cleaner can change. Everything else in the account stays hidden from that login.

Around that view sit the parts operators actually run their Saturdays on. The Arrivals and Departures report lives in the Bookings section and can be filtered to today, tomorrow, five days, three weeks, eight weeks or fifty-two weeks, narrowed to Up Next or to Vacant properties that can be cleaned now, and it shows the turnaround time between a departure and the next arrival along with whether a damage deposit has been paid. Bookster documents the report as optimised for print, screenshot and PDF output, and offers a personalised iCal feed of arrivals and departures per user, which a cleaner retrieves themselves from Bookings once they have a login. The module is described as mobile friendly for on-the-job updates, and Bookster lists it as available on every plan.

Can a cleaner attach a photo to a changeover in Bookster?

No, not in anything Bookster documents. Bookster's photos and videos feature is squarely about the listing: up to 100 photos per property, videos and drone footage, 360 degree photosphere images and floor plans, described as a way to rank higher on channels and win the booking. It is the marketing library, not a record of Saturday. The cleaner login is documented as a limited view of the seven fields above. So the photographs your cleaners take at a changeover, and most teams do take them, live in a camera roll or a messaging thread with no property, no date and no reader.

This is the gap the integration fills. Bookster holds the truth about which property, which stay and which turnaround. Your cleaners hold the pictures. RapidEye is the piece that puts the two together and reads the result, so Ready stops being a word someone typed and starts being something you can check.

What about Turno?

Bookster announced a partnership with Turno, and describes the setup plainly: create a Turno account, synchronise it with Bookster, and Turno imports your bookings to generate cleaning projects tied to the check-in and check-out dates. Bookster lists what Turno brings, including photo checklists with image upload, real-time problem reporting and inventory management, and says any Bookster client can use it. If you run that pairing, the photos exist and are already attached to the right job, which is a good place to start from. What neither system does is look at those photos and tell you what is wrong in the property. That reading is the part RapidEye adds, and it works the same whether the pictures arrive through Turno, through a phone, or through a capture link we send with the changeover.

Bookster integration FAQ

Does RapidEye integrate with Bookster?

Yes. RapidEye reads your property list, arrival and departure dates and the cleaning notes carried on the booking in Bookster, together with the photos taken at the changeover, and returns a finding for every property toggled Ready: what is damaged, what was not cleaned, what is missing. Your bookings, damage deposits, cleaner logins and the Ready and Unprepared toggle stay exactly as they are. RapidEye writes nothing to Bookster.

Can a cleaner attach photos to a changeover in Bookster?

Bookster's own feature documentation does not describe a place for a changeover photo. The photos feature is for the property listing, with up to 100 photos per property plus videos, photosphere images and floor plans, and the cleaner login is described as a limited view of the arrivals and departures information. So the photos your cleaners take live somewhere else, usually a phone camera roll or a messaging thread, and that is where RapidEye reads them. If a team takes no photos today, a RapidEye capture link opens in any phone browser with nothing to install.

Can RapidEye tell whether a property toggled Ready in Bookster was really cleaned?

Yes, from the photos. Bookster documents Ready and Unprepared as a toggle a cleaner sets, so the status records that a person decided the property was done. RapidEye reads the photos from that changeover and reports what they show: a bed made badly, a bin left full, a mark on a worktop, a kettle that is not there. Rooms the photos never covered are reported as not covered rather than passed.

We use Turno with Bookster. Does that change anything?

No. Bookster announced a partnership with Turno and describes Turno's photo checklists, problem reporting and inventory management as part of it. Turno is where the cleaner is scheduled and where the photos are collected. RapidEye reads those photos and the Bookster property and date they belong to, and returns the findings neither system produces: a specific list of what is wrong in the property, with the photo that proves it.

Does RapidEye decide what to deduct from a Bookster damage deposit?

No. Bookster documents automated damage deposits, including partial refunds and withholding the full refund when damage occurs, and that decision stays yours inside Bookster. RapidEye gives you the evidence to make it: the finding, the room, the severity, and the photo of the same spot before the stay next to the photo after it.

Does RapidEye work with video walkthroughs instead of photos?

Yes. Photos are the most common input because most teams already take them, but RapidEye reads whatever documentation a changeover produces, including video walkthroughs and 3D scans, and reports against the standard you care about. If your team documents changeovers in a shape not described on this page, tell us what it is and we will set the read up around it.
