AI location inspection for FranConnect

RapidEye reads the photo evidence your field consultants capture on FranConnect assessments and audits, and returns a condition finding per location, tied to the visit it came from.

How a FranConnect visit closes the loop

Overview

FranConnect turns a field visit into a closed loop, and the photo evidence inside it is the one part built for a human to look at. Brand Consistency runs configurable assessments against your operating standards, captures photo evidence so coaching rests on something visible rather than memory, assigns corrective actions with owners, and keeps a coaching history per location. That evidence is read once, in the conversation it was captured for, then filed with the visit. RapidEye reads it a second time and across time: the location and visit date come from FranConnect, and back comes a finding per problem, with the earlier photo of the same spot beside it.

Every location between visitsA consultant reaches a unit a few times a year. Photos arrive far more often than that, and each set gets read.
Drift you can show a franchiseeThe same corner at each visit, in order, so a slow decline stops being a matter of opinion.
FranConnect stays the recordAssessments, scores, corrective action plans and coaching history are untouched. RapidEye reads and reports back.

How it works with FranConnect

FranConnect's operations products each collect photos for a different reason, and each one gives RapidEye a different read.

  • Brand Consistency field visits. The assessment answers the standards it asks about. The photo contains the rest of the unit: the ceiling tile, the worn seating edge, the signage panel that has faded out of brand, the parking bollard somebody clipped. RapidEye reports what changed against the last visit to the same location.
  • Quality Management audits and daily line checks. Line checks put quality into the day rather than the quarter, which means photos from a location arrive weekly instead of seasonally. That cadence is what makes condition trackable at all, and it is read the same way a formal audit is.
  • Corrective action plans. FranConnect assigns the action, the owner and the deadline, and holds the verification. RapidEye brings the visual half: the photo of the finding, and the photos of the same spot on the next visit, so verification rests on the fixture rather than on a checkbox.
  • Offline visits in remote units. A visit conducted with limited connectivity syncs back when the consultant has signal. The photos land late, and they get read when they land.
  • Photos that never reached an assessment. Openings punch lists, remodel sign-offs, a franchisee's own phone photos of a leak. Where those exist, RapidEye reads them against the same location's baseline and keys the finding to the unit.

A finding names the location, where in the unit, what kind of problem it is (damage, cleaning, missing item, maintenance), how serious, the earlier and current photos, the visit date, and a suggested next step. It lands in the RapidEye dashboard, and in a Slack channel or inbox for the field team if you want it there. What becomes a corrective action in FranConnect is the operations team's call. Photos are the common input, not the only one: a brand that films a walk of each unit on the visit, or that has scans of its prototype build, or that wants findings scored against its own brand-standards manual, gets that set up with us on the first call.

How to connect FranConnect to RapidEye

  1. Confirm the location list. The units you want read, named the way they are named in FranConnect, so every finding lands on the right unit and the right visit.
  2. Point us at the photo evidence. Brand Consistency field visits, Quality Management audits, daily line checks, whichever of them your consultants actually photograph. Where a location goes long stretches with no photos, a RapidEye capture link fills the gap: any phone, no app, a fixed set of angles, taken by whoever is on site.
  3. Add RapidEye to the account. Add Rapid Eye with the email support@rapideyeinspections.com, with visibility of the locations and assessments you named. The Connect button has the details.

Field consultants keep working the way they work today, on the same assessments, in the same mobile app.

How a FranConnect visit becomes a closed loop

Checked against FranConnect's product documentation, September 2026.

FranConnect is the system a franchisor runs its network on, from franchise sales and openings through operations, performance, quality and royalties. The operations half is where a visit lives. According to FranConnect's own product documentation (franconnect.com), its Operations and Compliance product, Optik IQ, is built on the argument that compliance is not the score but what happens after it, and it lays the work out in four stages. RapidEye sits inside two of them.

  1. 01DetectCapture audit, inspection, field and operational findings across locations.RapidEye reads the photos captured here and adds the findings nobody wrote a question about.
  2. 02CorrectAssign actions, owners and deadlines to resolve the identified issue.Untouched. FranConnect owns the action, the owner and the deadline.
  3. 03TrainReinforce the behaviour or knowledge behind recurring gaps with targeted learning.Untouched, though recurring findings tend to point at the same few units.
  4. 04MeasureTrack whether corrective activity improved the underlying operating result.RapidEye compares the spot in the finding to the same spot on the next visit.

What the visit record holds

Brand Consistency is the product a field consultant actually opens, and FranConnect is precise about what each of its parts is for. Read as a list, it is a good description of why the photos exist and why nobody gets back to them.

Configurable assessmentsBrand Consistency

Structured field-visit and brand-standard assessments shaped to the operating model of your system. They answer the questions you wrote, which is exactly what they are for.

Photo evidenceBrand Consistency

FranConnect's stated purpose is to capture location conditions and examples of compliance so coaching is grounded in visible evidence rather than memory. It is captured for the conversation that follows the visit.

Corrective actionsBrand Consistency

Findings become assigned work with ownership and follow-up instead of sitting in a completed visit report.

Offline mobile visitsBrand Consistency

Visits run where connectivity is limited and sync back afterwards, which is why photo sets often arrive in batches.

Coaching historyBrand Consistency

Visit results and improvement activity stay connected over time, so a field team sees progress instead of starting fresh each visit.

Evidence and documentationQuality Management

A record of inspections, findings, photos and corrective actions, kept for accountability and review. The record is complete; reviewing it is a person's job.

Does FranConnect read the photos on a visit?

Its AI reads the findings, which is a different thing. FranConnect's Frannie AI family includes Field Assist, an agent for field-visit and operational analysis, and its documentation is clear about the input: it condenses scores, findings and context into visit summaries, surfaces key findings including missed assessments, highlights risk areas, and turns all of that into prioritised improvements and follow-up context for the next visit. It works from the structured assessment, and it is deliberately human-led: the stated aim is to give field leaders more time for observation and coaching rather than to replace their judgment. That is a good design, and the summary is only ever as complete as the questions the assessment asked.

The photo is the part of the record that does not depend on the questions. It caught the whole entrance, not just the line item about signage; the whole dining room, not just the one about table spacing. Nobody in a hundred-unit network has time to open every image from every visit and hold it next to the same image from the last one, which is the only way condition drift is visible at all. RapidEye does that: a baseline of what each location looks like when it is right, built from the photo history already sitting in your visits, and then a finding whenever a frame departs from it. FranConnect keeps running the loop; the photos inside it stop being a filed attachment and start being an inspection.

FranConnect integration FAQ

Does RapidEye integrate with FranConnect?

Yes. RapidEye reads the photo evidence your field consultants capture on Brand Consistency assessments and Quality Management audits, along with the location and the visit date, and returns a finding per problem: damage, wear, cleaning that was missed, an item that is no longer there, with the earlier photo of the same spot beside it. Your assessments, scores, corrective action plans and reporting in FranConnect are unchanged.

What does RapidEye read that a completed FranConnect assessment does not already say?

The parts of the location nobody wrote a question about. A FranConnect assessment answers the standards it asks about and the photos ground that answer in something visible rather than memory. The photo also contains the ceiling, the floor, the seating, the fixtures and the back of house, and none of that is scored unless a line item covers it. RapidEye reads the whole frame against the same location's earlier visits and reports what changed.

Can RapidEye verify that a corrective action was actually completed?

From the photos, yes. FranConnect assigns the corrective action, the owner and the deadline, and holds the verification step. RapidEye compares the photo of the finding with the photos from the next visit to the same spot, and says whether the condition changed or whether the same damage is still there. The record stays in FranConnect; RapidEye supplies the visual evidence for the verification.

Do field consultants have to change how they run a visit?

No. They work the same assessment on the same mobile app, offline where connectivity is poor, and capture photo evidence the way they do now. The one thing that helps is a fixed set of angles per location, shot from the same spots each visit, so entrance, dining room or sales floor, restrooms and back of house are comparable visit to visit. Franchisees who send in their own photos between visits can be read the same way through a RapidEye capture link.

Will RapidEye change an assessment, a score or a corrective action in FranConnect?

No. FranConnect stays the system of record for the visit, the score, the corrective action plan and the coaching history. RapidEye reads and reports; findings land in the RapidEye dashboard and, if you want them there, in a Slack channel or an inbox for the field team. What becomes a corrective action is the operations team's call.
