Overview

Momentus tracks the work an event needs and whether it was completed. The condition of the room after that work is a different fact, and it lives in a camera roll. A confirmed event in Momentus holds its spaces and dates, the outline the operations team publishes from it, the jobs and checklists built off the function instructions, and the work orders that put tables, power and A/V where they belong. All of that is about delivery. What is missing on the morning after a concert is the answer to a smaller question: is the hall the way it was before that concert loaded in. RapidEye reads your space list and event dates from Momentus and the photos your crew takes, and returns a finding per space with the two frames side by side.

How it works with Momentus

A venue running on Momentus already moves an event through a sequence: the event is confirmed and its spaces are held, the outline is published, jobs go to the teams that do the work, the show happens, and the room is struck. RapidEye reads photos at the seams of that sequence, where the building changes hands.

• Load in, before the client touches the room. The crew shoots the space as it is handed over. That set is the baseline for this event and the closing evidence for the last one, which is why one round of photos does two jobs.
• The setup, against what the outline asked for. Rounds of ten with a head table, risers at the north end, the pipe and drape line where the diagram put it. RapidEye reads the photos of the set room and reports what does not match, early enough to fix it rather than apologise for it.
• Load out, the night the room is struck. The same angles as load in. RapidEye reports what changed while the client had the space: a forklift gouge on the dock wall, tape residue across the terrazzo, a dented air wall, a chair trolley that came back four chairs light. A finding per problem, not a paragraph in a shift email.
• The spaces nobody photographs. Freight corridors, storage rooms, the back of a concourse, a green room. These are where condition drifts quietly across a season and where a scheduled walk almost never reaches. They are just spaces to RapidEye, read the same as the ballroom.
• Recurring events, held to their own history. The same show comes back next year into the same hall. RapidEye keeps what that space looked like the last time it was right, so this year's crew is measured against the room rather than against somebody's recollection of it.

Each finding names the space, where in the room, the type of problem, how serious, the two photos, and a suggested next step. It lands in the RapidEye dashboard and, if you want it there, in a Slack channel or the operations inbox, and what happens next in Momentus, a work order, a job on the reset, a note to the client's account manager, stays with your team. Photos are the usual input, not the only one: if your crews shoot video on a load out, or you have laser or 3D captures of a hall, those are things we set up with you.

How to connect Momentus to RapidEye

1. The spaces you want watched. Start from the space list you already book. Halls, ballrooms, breakouts, concourses, docks and back of house all work; anything you never turn over can stay out.
2. Load in and load out photos. From wherever your crew takes them now, or from a RapidEye capture link that opens on any phone with nothing to install. A fixed set of angles per space, once as the room goes in and once as it is struck, is enough to get a finding on both ends of an event.
3. A view-only RapidEye user. Momentus administrators control who can view or edit through role-based permissions, so yours adds RapidEye with a view-only role. The Connect button has the details.

Where the condition of a Momentus space actually lives

Momentus Elite is venue and event management software for stadiums, arenas, performing arts centers, conference centers and convention centers, and Momentus reports that more than 4,000 venues run on the platform. According to Momentus product documentation (gomomentus.com), Operations Hub is the delivery layer over Elite: an event dashboard that opens any confirmed event with a functions timeline view, an Event Outline that replaces run sheets, resumes, production notes and printed briefs with a published document inside Elite, and Jobs created from function instructions and items, built into checklists, assigned to organizational teams and tracked to completion. Administrators control who can view or edit through role-based permissions, and published status governs what view-only users see. Follow one hall through an event and you can see which of those records answers a question about the room, and which was never meant to.

The gap is not in any of these tools. It is in the workflow around them: the person who could confirm the state of the hall at two in the morning is the same person carrying the last road case out of it.

Do Momentus jobs and checklists hold photos of the space?

They hold the work. Momentus describes jobs as created from function instructions and items, turned into checklists in minutes, assigned to organizational teams and tracked through event delivery, with mobile-first tools so tasks, checklists and inventory can be managed on the go and digital checklists that hit every setup detail. On the convention center side the same platform carries work order, service order, catering and task list management, work orders with delivery notifications, to-scale room configurations and access to historical room setups for recurring events. That is a strong operational spine, and the ticked checklist it produces is a statement by the person who did the work. RapidEye supplies the other half of the sentence: a picture of the space, read against how that space looks when it is right, on every event rather than on the ones that generated a complaint.

Alongside, not instead.
